Would be a great villain on Agents of SHIELD or even a Captain America movie Who says just a one-off villain for Agents of SHIELD? Taskmaster's concept would merit his own show outright- there's a lot of different ways you could go with a TV show based on "former and/or reformed supervillain who runs a training facility for other villains/heroes". There was some speculation earlier this year that Grant was going to be him.

I love him, but man, that's a random character to have not had the rights to in the first place. More random than Namor the Sub-Mariner? Or Man-Thing?

Well Namor has been around for like 75 years or so and was one of their first characters
I'll give ya ManThing, though he did have a long running series.

So the Dungeon of Doom movie can finally be greenlit. From the land of yin and yang, The Zodiac! His tag team partner, from 20,000 leagues under the sea, The Shark! And their tag team partner from the deepest depths of development hell......

There was some speculation earlier this year that Grant was going to be him. Of course, certain events on SHIELD ended said speculation. Doesn't rule out TM appearing as another character, however.

One of my favorite panels in comics comes from the Genis-Vell Captain Marvel series where a naked character was hiding his nekkidness behind a copy of Giant Sized Man Thing. That Peter David is a silly bastard.
