Bayley takes 3 of the awards for me. Best overall wrestler, best female and best match (vs Sasha at Brooklyn). Best male is Balor, best team is Gable and Jordan and best TakeOver (although I'm biased) is London.

I like how they have a category for Overall Competitor of The Year that can be won by anybody. Really goes to show the respect that they treat the women's division with.

Is there no one else in NXT deserving?

Really only missed one month of show and quite frankly, no one in NXT has had close to the year she had.

Really only missed one month of show and quite frankly, no one in NXT has had close to the year she had. She was full-time on the main roster for the last 6 months of the year. She only did 2 televised NXT matches after her main roster debut in July, those both being against Bayley at TakeOvers. That's a lot more than "one month of show", but I still agree with you that she had a stellar year in NXT. It doesn't really matter anyway, it's all subjective. You don't have to be there long to make a big impression. Joe's only been around for a few months, and Owens basically had a cup of coffee, I guess I just think of Bayley when I think of the person who's had the best overall year in NXT.

Sasha wrestled in NXT regularly until Brooklyn, then did pre-taped promos and "live" segments until Oct. That is far more than 6 months and is too much of a short sell for me. Just like Joe has been there 6 months, same as Owens (year overall but 6 months this year). Opinion is fine but if you're using time, you're way off.

Yes, but she still appeared on NXT following her debut until October. Pre-tapes or not, she was still there for 10 months of the year.

Yep. Not disputing that at all. She was a big part of NXT until October. I'm only disputing Ric saying " She didn't spend half the year on the main roster", when she absolutely did. She's been full-time on the main roster for the past 6 months while also being on NXT tv thanks to pre-tapes and the 2 TakeOver matches. EDIT: Also disputing the "she's only missed one month of shows", when she hasn't wrestled on NXT tv since July (excluding the TakeOver specials). But yeah, again, by all means vote for her, it's all subjective. No ill intent meant on my end at all.

Tag team of the year is tough. Gable/Jordan are on fire right now, but of the year? Not quite.
I think I'd go with BAMF for seemingly coming out of nowhere, winning the titles, holding the titles for awhile, finding themselves as obnoxious tool-bag characters and also Alexa.

I'd rate Jordan and Gable above Blake and Murphy. Jason Jordan was just like Blake and Murphy in terms of being a nobody enhancement talent ever since Full Sail NXT was in existence (and I barely like Jordan) and he and Gable "came out of nowhere" just as quickly and actually got over. And even Dash and Dawson are better than BAMF at at being "good workers whose gimmick is literally that they're generic".
