No one ever seems to believe the retirement story when an artist plays that card, and fans have been fooled a lot, but I always believe it and this isn't any different.
I will really be surprised if they ever tour again-especially with all the things Nikki Sixx has said in interviews.
Will they record a song here or there? I could see that-I'm not sure what Nikki's stance was exactly, but he certainly has plans of his own.
So I say yes-it's over.

As far as I know, they signed a contract dissolving the band before they even set out on this retirement tour.

I think most of the 1980s metal bands that aren't already gone are on the verge of it. I can't remember if Scorpions are still touring at the moment, but I do recall seeing an article with Klaus Meine saying that the current/previous retirement tour is exactly what it sounds like, and just him musing about how old Steve Tyler, Mick Jagger, and himself are.

I don't know, look how many time we've seen the end of the Rolling Stones or the Who. Easy money on a reunion tour does bring bands back together.

The Crue is done. Mick won't come back after this. Nikki is a true believer and I don't think he would either. Tommy and Vince? Yeah I'm not even going to hazard a guess at what they'd do. Honestly I dunno how they ever got back together in the first place due to those two and their Schitt.

The Stones never teased retirement-the press has asked for over 30 something years, but the band never considered it. The Who have talked about it due to Roger's voice and Pete's tinnitus but they're dealing with it Well yea the who did a farewell tour in 82 I think but came back in 89

What sucks IMO is they're not really going out on top. If you wanna get technical that would have been 1991. Vince doesn't sing anymore and there are people that really don't know who they are

I believe Sabbath will stop primarily because of Tony Iommi's illness and they don't have a choice-those are the retirements that stick

While you can never truly say never, my gut feeling is they're done.
