That's a pretty valid point. I think if you do an image search for any wrestler that actually HAS been legit arrested, like Austin or Jericho, the mugshot is invariably one of the first few pics to pop up. Even if it was obviously a fake mugshot, people aren't going to know the difference or care. Austin - 32nd picture Jericho- not in the first 150 pictures. |

I stand corrected. "One of the first few pics" maybe wasn't the best phrase, but still, it doesn't take a whole lot of scrolling for Austin at least.
Jericho probably wasn't the best example since I think pretty much everyone but CM Punk forgot about that drunk & disorderly arrest.

Do we file this in the big "HHH is REALLY insecure" pile? They probably just don't want investors asking about an arrest that didn't actually happen and having to explain why it didn't happen, especially when the angle in question was complete filler. A "why make a fuss over something that doesn't matter" situation, more or less. |

Triple H is really afraid of people Googling things, it seems. If people Googled things about HHH, they'd see the last woman he had sex with, what she looked like, and what she's done with her life since.  So yeah.....point absolutely stands. |

To be fair, Vince's mugshot barely even resembled a mugshot.  It looks more like a promotional photo. No height measurement background. No placard with the police department and inmate number. |

Good god that's stupid. If someone is googling and found that mugshot another five seconds of googling would inform them it was part of a storyline. f***ing ridiculous. Considering how much easily disprovable BS goes viral on social media, I don't have much faith in people to do that further 5 seconds of Googling. |

There are people on here that cannot tell the difference between real life and kayfabe, despite the "Smark" label so I don't blame Hunter for wanting to protect his wife and company from the riffraff. Of course they could have gone the Vince route of making it so over the top and ridiculous that no one would buy it but Steph's arrest was done far more seriously. Also, Vince lives in much more isolated bubble than his daughter. He probably thought it was cool having a mugshot like a real bad guy. As someone who knows people who have real mugshots and have gone through the legal system, I imagine Trips would've been a lot less tickled. |
