I doubt it would happen, but wouldn't it be funny if the Texans and Redskins end up in the SB.

Odd that both AFC games are on Saturday and both NFC games are on Sunday. I don't recall them ever doing that.

I don't see how anybody stops Denver now that Manning is back. After he stepped in last night and almost single handedly brought his team back from almost impossible odds you can't bet against him

Pittsburgh over Cincy 28-17. Marv Lewis. 'Nuff said.
KC over Houston 20-10. Not that I have faith in Andy Reid, it's that I have less faith in Brian Hoyer
Seattle over Minnestoa: Think this one is gonna be closer than anyone thinks. 27-21
Washington over Green Bay. 27-23 I know, I know. Rodgers, playoffs.....etc. My eyes tell me that there's something very wrong with this Packers team. I don't trust them a single bit

If Rodgers gets time to throw, he'll carve us up. He threw some pretty good passes late in last night's game because he had time. But at this stage in the game, Cousins is a better QB than Teddy and the Skins have better offensive weapons than Minnesota. I think Washington wins it. I'm hopeful Seattle beats Minnesota b/c I think Washington vs. Arizona would be a lot closer than people think.

Seattle is overrated. Sorry if I'm not fawning over Russell Wilson and his one trick ponies that basically only give a crap after Halloween. Can you really call a team a one trick pony that has been 2 consecutive Super Bowls, and in their 4 year playoff run has won by running and also by passing? Yeah I was going to ask which "one trick" he was referring to. The passing, rushing or dominant defense. You can even throw in Lockett's returns into the mix as well!

Ironic a Bills fan calls the Seahawks a one trick pony. No, they need to be in 4 straight Super Bowls before they are real, damnit!

Odd that both AFC games are on Saturday and both NFC games are on Sunday. I don't recall them ever doing that. I think they really want to get these AFC games out of the way. Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati has no appeal if Dalton isn't playing, and Chiefs vs. Texans...even though the Chiefs have played really well the Texans are a dumpster fire at QB.

From what I read it has something to do with TV rights, who the home teams were/what time they can play home games, and the Golden Globes on NBC Sunday night. Just kind of fell this way cause of NBC not being available for football other than 1pm on Sunday.

I doubt it would happen, but wouldn't it be funny if the Texans and Redskins end up in the SB. Well, there was Bucs/Raiders in '03. It would be an awful SB to watch, though. At least in Super Bowl XXXVII, the Buccaneers had the league's top-rated defense and the Raiders had the league's top-rated offense. And despite the blowout final score, that was a better game than people give it credit. It gets lost to history by being stuck between Super Bowls XXXVI and XXXVIII, arguably two of the greatest football games ever played, but Oakland hung around and had a chance to cut the lead to six before Derrick Brooks' interception sealed the game late in the fourth quarter. But yes, a Washington vs. Houston Super Bowl would just be dire. The final score would be some butt-ugly 19-10 game with both quarterbacks throwing at least two interceptions and the Super Bowl MVP being some scrub running back who ran for something like 76 yards on 21 carries.

If the Bengals lose Saturday night the league should step in and officially rename them the Cincinnati One 'n' Dones.
