I've got it... Sting shakes Flairs hand... Flair low blows him and throws him off the stage and grabs the ring while yelling out THREE TIMES BABY! WOOO! and strutting off the stage ...none of this was planned

Here's how I see it going down: Sting visits a Make-A-Wish kid before the Hall Of Fame show. This turns out to be Ric Flair in disguise. Sting is then attacked by Flair, Arn Anderson, Sid Vicious, and Barry Windham, all of whom are armed with lead pipes. Sting is taken to a local medical facility. Lawler announces at the start of the show if Sting doesn't show up for his induction, Flair gets inducted for a third time. Later that night, as Flair is on stage celebrating his new Hall Of Fame ring, we cut backstage where Sting is emerging from an ambulance, flanked by Lex Luger, Paul Orndorff, The Steiner Brothers, and the ghosts of Junkyard Dog and El Gigante. An epic brawl ensues onstage, with the Dudes With Attitudes overcoming the Horsemen and Sting taking his rightful place as the newest member of the WWE Hall Of Fame. The evening ends with Scott Steiner low-blowing Sting, stealing his ring, and going on a profanity-laced rant about Hulk Hogan as the ghost of JYD dances to "Grab Them Cakes".

Cracking up that Flair posted a photo of him with Joker Sting on his Facebook to congratulate Sting on the HOF induction.

So who do we think is going to induct him? You have to think it would have been Hogan, Bischoff now? I was thinking Flair or Vader.

Again, it's surely going to be Flair inducting Sting. If memory serves, Sting told Flair he'd like him to induct him when Sting was on Flair's podcast.

So Jeff Farmer is totally the one getting inducted right? ... yup. Going in... FULL FORCE! Seriously, with all due respect to Sting, that he is first over Taker, I find a bit odd. But I'm biased.

So here's Ric Flair congratulating his WCW nemesis/friend Sting on a WWE Hall of Fame induction using a screenshot of them in TNA.

The Sting news would be a lot more amazing if they actually booked his possibly final and only WWE matches right. Ah well at least I saw him live at Mania before he retired...

Too bad Sting couldn't have gone in prior to having matches in WWE.
Oh well.

Here is the WWE made video that announced Sting as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame: Class of 2016.
Sting is truly deserving of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Sting is such an icon and he'll always be a one of a kind. Sting is by far one of professional wrestling's biggest stars. Sting has made such a huge impact on the professional wrestling industry and his legend will live on forever.
Here are some of Sting's accomplishments in his very long professional wrestling career.
UWF World Tag Team Champion (3 times) NWA World Television Champion (1 time) NWA World Heavyweight Champion (2 times) - once in WCW and once in TNA WCW International World Heavyweight Champion (2 times) WCW United States Heavyweight Champion (2 times) WCW World Heavyweight Champion (6 times) WCW World Tag Team Champion (3 times) TNA World Heavyweight Champion (4 times) TNA World Tag Team Champion (1 time)

The usual "they can't induct too many dead guys in one year" supposition doesn't work this year.
If the guy they want is still earning a living from wrestling and it's not with WWE, many of them won't take the $5k in exchange for being off the indy/convention circuit for a chunk of the year (standard contract for anyone who goes in the HoF)
Most of the good regional options are dead or are ensembles who are at least half-dead (Brody, Gordy & Roberts of the Freebirds, Gary Hart). Gino Hernandez & Chris Adams are HoF-worthy, but WWE wouldn't touch them with a fifty-foot pole now.
As I see it now, the class this year will be:
-Sting (inducted by Flair) -Vader (inducted by Mick Foley) -Owen Hart (inducted by Jim Ross or Jerry Lawler, accepted by Bret) -The Freebirds (inducted by Kevin Von Erich, accepted by Michael Hayes [and possibly Jimmy Garvin]) -Bruiser Brody (inducted by Stan Hansen) -JBL (inducted by Ron Simmons) -Motörhead (inducted by Triple H, accepted by Mikkey Dee & Phil Campbell)

If WWE inducts Owen they have lost their minds.

So guessing this means that Luger goes in next year, because Sting will have to induct him.

Very well deserved. And it'll definitely be Flair inducting him, I think.

With Sting and Vader, and being in the south, this could turn into a NWA/WCW themed HOF. Definitely I think the Freebirds should go in at some point, hopefully while Hayes and Garvin are still in good health to pick it up

Haven't seen them on the news sites yet but there is at least one, maybe two pre-sale codes. Probably foolishly hoping they don't hit the news sites until after the sale has started.
