The good news: Gedo will be forced to push other guys/shake things up. The Bullet Club is hopefully dead. The bad news: I feel WWE would mess up Nakamura. Badly. Apparently no matter what happens, Bullet Club march on. So get ready for either another big name gaijin joining them or a power war between Yujiro & Tama Tonga.Oh, come on Gedo. The Bullet Club needs to die already.

From New Years Dash: {Spoiler} Kenny Omega & AJ Styles vs Nakamura & YOSHI-HASHI
Omega pins Nakamura. Then turns on AJ. Bullet Club comes to AJ's defence. Bucks & Omega then triple superkicked AJ. Gallows & Anderson later turned on AJ
Omega then cuts a promo about how he was overlooked when AJ was the leader/boss of BC. Omega goes after Nakamura and IC title and AJ is fired.
All left with AJ laying, Omega and bucks then did Styles Clash/Superkick combo and left
Young lions helped AJ to his feet, crowd LOUDLY chanting for AJ, AJ then does a 4 corner Japanese salute crowd loudly chanting his name. It was a surreal moment and definitely did look like a swansong for Styles OH GOD ITS HAPPENING

The rumoured guys are AJ, Nakamura, Tonga, Omega and Anderson. It also might be worth noting that Nagata, Tenzan, Kojima and Nakanishi might be on their way over to All Japan too. Gonna be an interesting couple of days for sure. And I'll just throw this out there.. NXT tapes TV Thursday. I thought that the "rumored" guys were AJ, Swagsuke, Gallows & Anderson with speculations about Omega?

For the record Dash is pretty fun--WK better for me but if you weren't big on it Dash has some good action.

Meltzer hinted that this news and the news there's a surprise entrant in the Rumble are linked... and given that AJ is the only one of the four mentioned working without a contract, that's something interesting to keep an eye on.

Not going to be negative about this potential move like others. New Japan for quite a while suffered from stagnation that people willingly ignore because of the in ring product. They relayed heavily on Tanahashi, Nakamura, Styles, and Okada as the 4 who headline the cards and got the majority of the spotlight. Guys like Naito, Goto, and Shibata got sacrificed to them and it bogged down any new blood breaking through. Losing Styles and Swagsuke will force New Japan not only to move up folks but to take chances on bringing in new blood like Elgin on a semi permanent role to shore up the rest of the card. Kenny Omega as IC champion is needed because if Bullet Club is still going to be a thing, the leader can't settle for a junior title. Anderson leaving means that Gedo and Jado can't use him as the go to gaijin in the heavyweight tag division anymore. He's been stuck in that role for years and it was not going to change. This will make them actually build up all of the divisions especially the heavyweight because 2 of the big 4 are gone and no one wants to see Tanahashi/Okada again for the next 2 years.
Nakamura for the longest time talked about a move to WWE. Maybe not to the point of ad nauseam but enough for WWE to know he would listen to offers. His unique charisma will take care of him. The only issue is how his body will hold up. He has been hurting for quite a while so a tamer style will help. But can it hold up on a WWE schedule? Even NXT is starting to work a main roster schedule. Same for Styles. He needs to heal up and refresh before making any moves. But the bigger story is that WWE is more willingly to sign international talent regardless of their place on the roster. About a month ago, La Sombra got signed and he was the biggest name in CMLL and one of the top stars in Mexico. It put all promotions on notice that they got to make sure their key talent are locked up and satisfied with their job. New Japan might change the traditional one year contracts and do multi years deals. Not quite the WWF talent raids of the 80's but big enough to make companies change how they do things.

I, for one, look forward to IC Champion Nakamura vs Bullet Club leader Omega.

If they bring them in as a stable, that might be pretty sweet.
WWE seems to really be headed back into gang warfare mode and having a Bullet Club esque group would be a good addition to the mix.
AJ, Anderson/Gallows and Nakamura as the "Japanese Guy" for WWE to do some stereotypical stuff with.
"Maggle, this nakamera, he's a real mysterious and inscrutable fella. Think he might be a ninja? Did these bullet club fellas bring a ninja with them from japan?"

Rumors say Fale (why?), Tonga (Hope he owns his gimmick...) and Rocky Romero (eh?) are negociating with the WWE too.
I'm think all these people will be grouped together, even Romero & Nakamura that weren't Bullet Club.
EDIT: Romero's deal would be as a trainer. Makes sense.
