Not a big fan of the Winslet choice. I really liked Steve Jobs but she wasn't better than Vikander or Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Brie Larson being nominated for best actress in a motion picture - drama for her performance in "Room" brings up a lot of questions, like "what is 'Room'?" and "who is Brie Larson?"

Brie Larson has been in a few pretty big things, so it's not like she's a no name. I'm not saying she's a no-name, I'm just saying that as of about 8 p.m., I'd never heard of her or "Room". I'm sort of out of the pop culture zeitgeist these days. For example, I've also never heard of "Carol" or "Joy", and those are both best motion picture nominees. To be honest, when I saw her name on the list of nominees, I thought to myself, "Wow, that porn star that was dating Charlie Sheen a few years back has really done well for herself!" But upon further research, that was Bree Olson, who is apparently not Brie Larson.

Something called Wolf Hall just won something. Based on the music it sounds British.

Still not convinced that Oscar Isaac and David Krumholtz aren't the same person.

I'm honestly surprised "Trumbo" only received two nominations, because there's nothing the collective of Hollywood loves more than patting itself on the back and reminding itself of how crucially important it is.
Also, "Spy" received two nominations? The one where Melissa McCarthy plays a bumbling doofus? No, not that one, the other one. No, not that one either. No, not that one, either!

Brie Larson played Amy Schumer's sister in Trainwreck, I believe. .......Bree Olson might have AIDS because of Charlie Sheen. ..............mood brought down though not intentionally.

So, the only award show The Peanuts Movie has a shot at is the Annie Awards.

She doesn't play a bumbling doofus in it at all, so... I can't lie, I haven't seen it. I'm only judging it by the trailer, in which she eats a hand towel, falls off a motorcycle, and tries to slide off the hood of a car but stumbles off, so it hits all the "this is a wacky Melissa McCarthy movie, folks!" beats. So I made my assumptions based on those 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
