Was it injuries? Haven't seen anything concrete on why they nixed the signing so quick. How do you think Willie Mack would've fared in NXT/WWE? Dude's probably one of the most likeable wrestlers today. Zayn/Bayley level.

He was one of a few that were looking to be signed but had their offers pulled at the last second. Best guess I've heard was a bit of cost savings.

Vince "Excellent Question Shelton" McMahon thought he was Uhaa Nation and then Willie got the axe once The company realized their mistake.

Sure he'll get another look fairly soon though. Do you know who else got their offers pulled at the time? IIRc Adam Cole was one

Willie Mack seems like a real cool dude. I'm glad that he was able to land on his feet with LU after the WWE deal fell through.

Gimmick infringement Never watched lucha underground but that's clearly a fake crowd and I cannot stand fake audiences. Saves me the time of watching it.

If you're fine watching WWE but don't want to watch something that actually respects its product and fans with a healthy degree of verisimilitude I'm not sure what you're into wrestling for.

It was pulled because during Mack's Wellness physical, they found out his knee were more damaged than they thought and his offer was rescinded.

It was a mix but by these tapings it was mostly fans. This season is all fans I believe. But if you want to write it off on that when it is easily the best wrestling in the US, okay.

Just feels like people that really want to help get the promotion off the ground, a few hardcore fans, and a few that follow the AAA product. But if there is a few plants, oh well.

Isn't the way LU is set up, it's like the old studio audience alot of territories used? Hell WCW had that even after Nitro was on air.

I know there were a few more than got pulled but never heard names.

The first few episodes there was and you could spot them (young attractive females grouped together) but by Aztec Warfare as word of mouth spread about it, it was all paying costumers.
