There's no reason to have a third.

The sequel literally ones of people were clamoring for? With the guy who's dying yet still finds time to create overly elaborate death traps? Yeah I'll pass.

I liked the first 2 but the third is usually where a franchise goes downhill. I will be seeing Running with Scissors today.

I have seen the first one. Not the second. Perhaps I should see that before Saw 3.
Or I can just not watch either.
Sorry Saw fans, blame it on the stupid twist at the end of the first one... (Why do all Horror Movies go for a twist now?)
EDIT: Yes...I will probably end up watch 2 & 3. I am a glutton for horror movies.

Is this a prequel because I thought he died in the second one and they don't show the girl from "Summer School" in any commercials....the twist to Saw2 was not very good and could be seen a mile away.

I'll definitely see it, the original is one of my fav films.
The 2nd one was good but ruined by the fact i figured out the twist about 5 seconds before it happened.
I'll probably go see it on Halloween.

Well there were 2 twists there, the fact that she was in on it and the fact that it wasnt live... ...and he didnt die in the second one, at the end when the cops locked in the bathroom, the camera cuts to Jigsaw and as it pulls out you see him smiling as he hears the cop screaming...

The first movie was pretty good. The mystery about the killer was great. The twist was awesome.
The second movie sucked. Let me make sure I'm clear on this. The second movie SUCKED. No mystery. No twist. (It wasn't live? Whoop-dee-s***, and I saw it coming a mile away.) No plot...apart from apparantly teaching a mean cop that he never met or should even care about a lesson. Not to mention the fact that he practically broke his own rule about never actually killing his victims himself, since he pretty much did that to the mean ol' cop.
It squeaked by on name value alone like so many other mindless films (*coughTexasChainsawMassacre:TheBeginning!). And now it's going to try again.
So yeah, I'll pass.

I saw the first, still haven't seen the second, and doubt I'll see the third. I liked the 1st one a lot, but I'm iffy about sequels for obvious reasons. Being that they usually disappoint.
