Seth mates and Dave hero are f***ing shitting on fans who are pissed Here's what gets me: So, if we're not the target demographic, who IS? Because the people in the building were booing Roman too. Obviously, the WWE's target demo is Vince McMahon.

Their target demo is children.
They buy all the crap they put out, that's how WWE does money. Merch.

The stuff they hawk, like Total Divas and the Network, isn't generally child-accessible. There's NXT and the monthly Special Events but I can't see a lot of parents spending $10 a month for 4-5 shows a month. That seems like the kind of thing you buy when you DON'T have kids to fret over.

What a shitty, bland finish to that main event. Mania has nothing going for outside of name value after tonight.

Pretty nifty show.
Glad to see E&C back on in some capacity.
Wyatts match was pretty solid. Hope Harper's alright though.
Wanted to see Del Rio win but was still a good match.
Styles/Jericho was alright. Still don't care for Jericho.
Glad to see Roman won.
Everything else was "meh" for me.

Hell of a job they're doing in that regard. The idea is that pro wrestling fans are creatures of habit and that you can hook them pretty much for life if you get to 'em as kids. The fact that the average viewer is in his 40's is really telling in that regard, because the only people that are left pretty much are the diehards, those who watch pretty much because they've always watched. WWE's big problem is that they can't for the life of them get new eyes on their product or bring back the lost casuals of the Attitude Era OR the entire fanbase of WCW. And that may be an issue with pro wrestling at large rather than WWE precisely. I don't want to sound like Jim Cornette but I think our sport is dying as a national TV / touring level product. It's been done, people have seen it. I think it will have to go away for some time before people want to see it again, it's like anything else. I think if anything, a return to the territorial system with locally touring promotions with an internet presence a lot more likely than a boom period like the Attitude Era or Rock N Wrestling.

I voted with my wallet and canceled the network. I'm going to phase out reading spoilers to.
I'm really just done with a company so tone deaf.

I wasn't exactly stoked for this event but I figured at least one thing or another would manage to keep my interest but outside of AJ/Jericho I wasn't really into anything else they were giving us tonight. There are some interesting storylines but considering they can't even get their main event for Wrestlemania right I'm not too stoked for that.
Speaking of the main event, it was fun but it never got the time it needed to move into that 2nd gear and the finish itself was complete shit. Look I don't hate Reigns, I assumed they finally found out how to book him when he took the belt off Sheamus, I was wrong because they still want to make him seem like a lovable underdog when he is anything but. So instead they have him pin the REAL underdog after he ate about 6 or 7 chairshots from him.
I can't say I'm pumped for Triple H vs Roman Reigns and unless there's some sort of interesting hook to it I don't think they'll be able to make me stoked before Mania. It's telling that WWE ends their show teasing the main event for possibly the biggest Wrestlemania ever and the crowd isn't reacting to it one bit.

I take it things did not go well? Braun Strowman lost despite his insane hidden wrestling skills. The board has not taken it well.

It's insane they are trying to hide the failure with loud music and pyro..
What are they excepting people will change their minds if they don't hear the boos?
You know what else I didn't hear?.. A massive crowd pop when the final bell rang, you kind of want that for a baby face main eventing Wrestle f***ing Mania!... f***ing idiots.

This PPV was appropriately named. The Fast lane starts out being fun, but there is a ultimately a horrible crash at the end.

A massive crowd pop when the bell rang... f***ing idiots. It's not like this is a surprise. They did it with both he and Batista's Rumble wins and when he beat Bryan, and they'll do it when he wins at Mania. Assuming they don't play Rock's music instead because they learned nothing from the Rumble last year and think the association alone will get Reigns cheered.

Eh, I've mulled it over a bit and here's what I'm going to do in light of tonight. Quoting this earlier post so no one can call me out on this, I know I'm going against what I said. I'm not even mad, never expected anything but. Bye, WWE, see ya on April 4th when the crowd shits on you all night again. Okay, I'm going to watch Raw tonight. Give it a fair honest watch, since at least it's been decent most weeks lately. So going to watch it, and if there is something - some really profoundly good Triple H / Reigns segment, an interesting prospect for Taker or Lesnar, some surprise return, something to give me some degree of interest in Mania, I'll watch next week, and if something like that happens there the next, and what have you, and if they keep me invested in some way through Mania I'll watch the show. If there isn't, oh well, I'll stop watching until the night after like I skipped Mania 29 (and the only reason I watched 31 is my satellite was out). Going to give them a fair chance to hook me and if they don't do it, oh well, while if they do, great, maybe Mania will manage to be a good show.

Sasha and Becky get the opening spot. Holy shit, this is big. I believe this was only the second time an all-Divas match has kicked off a WWE PPV. The only other being Jazz vs. Trish Stratus for the Women's title at InsurreXtion 2003.

FUN PPV, people gotta whine though.
Just roll with it, how can you enjoy anything when your priority is to just constantly pick holes with it?

Some notes from being at Fastlane live.
- Brock, Ambrose, E&C, New Day and AJ Styles were the most popular people. - Roman Reigns had, by far, the most heat on the show. - Crowd sounded pretty hot live but I heard it didn't come across that way on TV. - Kalisto was rather popular but Del Rio, and the whole League of Nations, got next to no real reaction. - Sasha and Becky were behind the top five people listed in overness. They were very liked and the crowd badly wanted Sasha to get the tag. - Fans were split like 60/40 for Styles/Jericho. - Did the Wyatts really lose to Kanebackshow? Why? - Seeing Brock is awesome. Things are just different when he shows up. The second he came out my friend was like "I don't even care, put the belt back on him right now". - Triple H got a big pop facing off against Reigns. - Jerry Lawler spent the entire show texting or something at the Kickoff desk, while Booker and Renee watched the matches.
If I remember anything else, I'll update it. Also, look out for a review on my blog.

Sasha and Becky get the opening spot. Holy shit, this is big. Shame the crowd was so inexplicably dead for it. It was standard but very well-booked. Then again, other than Styles and Jericho, that crowd sucked. I hope it doesn't deter them from being women opening spots going forward.
