What, you needed him to say it to realize that? Haha. Oh, I realized he doesn't care what the fans want many years ago. It's just hilariously stupid to hear the out-of-touch geezer actually say it on live TV.

And it makes him look like an ass every single time. I don't get why he feels that way, because that is truly not what is best for business.

It kind of begs the question, then, of why we continue to support an entertainment company which a) really hasn't been doing a good job of entertaining us in and of itself (the merits of the matches notwithstanding); b) has demonstrated time and again that its fans are not important or are ignorant of what's going on on their TV screens, and c) has stated repeatedly and in every idiomatic variation that it does not welcome the input from fans about its creative direction. Most troublingly, it appears that there is no concern from WWE, Inc. that the result of the above factors has been a slow but steady decline in the numbers that impact the wrestling promotion's profitability.
And I'd like to throw a cinderblock through the windshield of the Ferrari that is many fans' image of NXT. Consider carefully how well its alumni are being used on the main roster, and ask yourselves if the purpose of NXT was really to highlight up-and-coming stars, or whether it's primarily a means of sucking top talent out of the indies to deprive the smaller promotions of any competitive edge, only to misuse these talents deliberately while tying them to contracts, often barely paying more than they might earn working steadily and perfecting their craft on the indy circuit.
The way to Vince McMahon's head is through his wallet - by supporting alternative promotions and depriving WWE of its revenue, one of two things will happen. Vince and company will either change its tack to make WWE more competitive or they will find themselves ousted in a stockholder revolt or otherwise sanctioned by the SEC.

Because he is a heel when he's said it on TV and know it will get heat, simple. Now if you're talking about in private, he's rich and does what he thinks makes him more money. Where else are wrestling fans going to go? Ring of Gorilla? Total Nonstop Evolve? Japan? No, they'll take what he's given them for nearly 40 years.

Then why in the hell should any of us give a damn about the product? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I want to start an indy fed called Ring of gorilla where it takes place in a planet of the apes style world where people wrestle in Gorilla costumes.

That sounds like a Chikara acid dream...and now I want to see that.

I said it before to give the people what they want we must look to the Youtube views. And they want John Cena winning a battle royal where the prize is a kiss from the Undertaker.

Even as an in-character thing to say, its stupid.
Its really sad how much they're just flat-out flailing to get Roman over to the point they'll thrown any number of pounds of shit against the wall to hope something sticks and get their boy over.
