I dunno. I think Courtney Vance and Sarah Paulson are really great, but I think all they told Cuba is to act like his dog died in every scene. And there is no reason to have Robert's kids on there as much as they are. And I can't tell if Travolta is really good or really bad. This is where I'm at as well. I knew the moment he was cast that Cuba was wrong for the role, and he's been pretty terrible so far. The cast has some real solid performances, but it dropped the ball with the OJ casting.

I kinda marked out when the defense outflanked the prosecutors. I felt dirty.

Here's a funny story, back in the World Series where the Marlins played the Indians, one night the starting pitchers were Kevin Brown and Chad Ogea. Pronounced O.J. The announcers made sure to mention that.

He just seems too small for the role, both in personality and in stature. I mean, he's supposed to be the star (using that term very loosely), but he feels like such an afterthought. Especially when you compare Vance, Schwimmer, Paulson, Britton, and even Brown. As for Travolta, I'm mixed. It feels like he's just playing an over-the-top version of himself, but he's a solid enough actor that he can get away with it.

Schwimmer has been pretty solid, thus far

Cuba Gooding Junior is all wrong for this part. Far too whiny and his voice is too high. OJ Simpson was physically larger, had a deeper voice, and his behaviour was more based on self-pity and evasion rather than hysteria.

After last night's episode, give Courtney B. Vance everything. The Emmy, Golden Globe, and I don't care that it's a t.v. show...give him the Oscar. Dude is killing it.

Disagree with OJ being the star of this thing, the star(s) are clearly Cochran, Shapiro and Marcia. Oh, and Scwimmer's "Juice" - THAT right there is the star. Personally, I'm loving the show - I was too young to really understand (or care) what was going on while the trial was actually happening - also Canadian, so while we cared, we didn't as much as Americans - I love the drama of it, the twist and turns, the bait endings. I'm loving Cochran's portrayal - the actor is killing it. And again, Juice. Juice. JUICE!!

Yeah, I am super into this show. Great performances all around even the weird ones (I like Travolta's weirdness in this show) and obviously Cochran is amazing. I even like Cuba. I hope there's another season at some point. I'd love to see what they'd dig into next.

I kinda agree with Cuba being mostly wrong for the role.
I know he's a bit expensive but I think Will Smith would've been better. He's bigger and he has that 'I don't know why, but I like this guy' charisma.

The best coverage of that trial IMO was the Howard Stern show. He would send out his guy to interview people in New York and you'd get the most repulsive feedback imaginable, most of which blamed OJ's ex wife for either exaggerating the beatings he gave her, or outright justifying that a man sometimes needs to beat his wife. Stern basically thought this warped mindset would be shared by the jury, and I think he was right. The fact it took the jury such a relatively short period of time to come back with a verdict pretty much proved they didn't give two shits about any scientific evidence, much of which they probably wouldn't have understood at all. You gotta remember things like, his blood wasn't there. Oh, it was everywhere, but because the cops f***ed it so bad, it wasn't admissible. It wasn't like the jury ignored it, it wasn't there as far as the law is concerned. There's more, but that's the big one, jury came back with the right verdict, even if he totally did it. Yeah, if your admissable evidence doesn't prove beyond a doubt someone is guilty, they should not be found guilty.

Courtney B. Vance has been tremendous. Felt the first few eps were ok, but the most recent one was fantastic. Looking forward to how the rest of this plays out

If that turns out to be the case, it will make for a VERY good epilogue assuming the show's season hasn't wrapped up production.

Last night's show was a very sad one. Good on Sarah Paulson for a fantastically portrayed character. This episode was all her, and she knocked it out of the park.

Major props for her performance in scenes where Clark is full of joy and confidence and then immediately becomes full of sadness when someone demolishes her momentum. Best line of the series so far last night was the line about her new haircut: Goddamn, she turned into Rick James.

Well I googled the Marcia Clark nudes.... I usually have low expectations for leaked photos, even possible ones of myself, to avoid disappointment.
