Given that most guys fight twice a year at most, eight fights would put him well over forty.
Even if he's semi-successful, I don't see that happening.

I dunno, I don't see anything wrong with it. He doesn't wanna answer stupid questions like they've never been asked. Except that's being famous. Punk is well within his rights to not want to answer those questions (although it's unfair to call them stupid, it's kinda journalism 101 that you want your own quotes about things rather than other people's), but considering one of his beefs with WWE was not getting to main event Mania... you can't headline the biggest show of the year and not do the media runaround, same as being at the top of any industry. To believe any less is pretty much delusional. Yeah, but he's not. This is today, during his run he was doing Make-a-Wish, being on the covers of video games, doing Comic Con panels and doing everything else a top guy does. Now, all he does is field the same tired old questions about a fake wrestler entering UFC. Every f***ing celebrity is tired of answering the same old shit, if you listen to Simpsons DVD commentaries, Matt Groening says George Harrison was nice and polite and friendly, but the second Matt asked about one of George's solo albums, he perked right up and became twice as happy. He's sick of answering questions about the same 6 years of his life. Punk is sick of answering the same questions and also, UFC or not, Punk is still working you....

Be that as it may, celebs still have a responsibility to give these pressers with repetitive questions. Many celebs complain about this regularly, yet they still do them as professionally as possible because it's part of the job, like it or not. Punk comes off completely dickheaded here. He should know that these pressers are part of being a famous celeb entering UFC.

"For a guy who gets extremely defensive about knowing the difference between professional wrestling and MMA, Punk didn’t fight like he knew the difference" Savage and yet, can't say I disagree with anything said.

What a bitchy thing to say, and not witty in the slightest.

What a bitchy thing to say, and not witty in the slightest. But immensely self satisfying after the way Punk treated him earlier.

What a bitchy thing to say, and not witty in the slightest. So, in a nutshell, it suits Punk to a T.

Punk had it coming. In fact, he deserves MUCH worse for being such a dick.

Comparing Punk to Taylor is doing a disservice to Taylor.

Meeeow!
Don't blame the writer one little bit.

It's kicking a dude while he's down, sure, but after the snippy interview, I can't entirely blame him, even as someone who has a warmer perception of Punk than a lot of folks here. Dude brought it on himself.

Here's your L Punk, you should also check out that burn.
Holy shit! The part about the departed about being a cop just because he saw it on tv pretty much described this whole failed experiment.

After seeing Punk not shake hands at the weigh-in, it really puts the original interview in a new light.

Punk had it coming. In fact, he deserves MUCH worse for being such a dick. I really don't understand this mentality. How much worse does he deserve?

I'd argue he shouldn't of been approved to fight in the first place. That would of been a bigger and apt punishment after two years of this debacle. Not to mention, no paycheck.
