One of my all-time favorite shows. I managed to catch both episodes on ABC before they canned it (anyone remember the Superbowl Ads? That's how I learned of the show). Once I saw it on DVD I had to buy it. Just another victim of the Television Show Disease "Too good for it's own good"-itis. Hopefully the animated movie will finally come out, I think Smith is gonna work on it between his other projects, hopefully. The commentary is pretty great too. Too many great gags to list, but the Transformer turning into a car so some people could drive it, only to transform back into a robot later on, liquifying the drivers, holds a special place in my heart. I own the DVD's but does anyone remember when Comedy Central used to air it late at night... alongside DuckMan, The Critic and Undergrads Yeah, Comedy Central is weird where it gets rights to old/cancelled shows, then shows them on their 2am to 4am block.

Yeah...I'll be the next to confirm that it was only two episodes before ABC pulled it. I remember I was plopped down in front of my computer and had it turned to ABC and found out it wasn't on. I was pissed. I think I joined the View Askew website that night and joined the ranks of countless others who were posting on their message board their distain for ABC for yanking it after two episodes.
Think I only posted for a short time though.
But I did get the DVD shortly after it came out.

"Okay, nobody talk about how we're gay, or that the show isn't like the movie"
"Uh, I'd just like to say that the show sucks, and you're both gay"

Yeah, hopefully the animated movie is done sometime soon. I'd kill for the show to come back full time.

I really enjoyed watching it on itv3, my favourite episode has to be where they try to make more like the movie. I think they canned it for the [sarcasm]Brilliant[/Sarcasm] Gerg the Bunny.

Great cartoon, and Jay and Silent Bob's unnatural hatred for Charles Barkley is hilarious to me for some reason.

The baseball/Pharaoh one has some GREAT lines.
"Oh my God the kid in the helmet" "Yes, LOOK at him..."
and my favourite of all time.
"You don't need magazine, we are here to serve you, if you get my meaning." "Then do as I say and get me those magazines, and get ones with Asian chicks, I got a thing for Asian chicks." "As do I."

and to think, they passed on 13 episodes on UPN to go with ABC, we could have had at least 7 more episodes of goodness

The two episodes that aired were number 4 (first) and number 2 (second). The greatest thing about the dvd is on the commentary, Smith says that if the show continued on, they were going to do a single white female episode, w/ KITT from knight rider taking over Dante's life. We would have seen KITT wearing Dante's clothing, and talking to Randal.
