In any other business, someone who acted like Nash did in WCW would never find work again.

This was the Thunder right before Russo and Ferrera began booking the Monday after. I remember how fun this show felt, like everyone had senioritis and just didn't give a shit, which was a common occurrence in WCW in those final years. Similar shows are the Spring Breakout from 2000 when it was announced Russo and Bischoff were coming back and of course the last Nitro, where Schiavone went off on "Steve" Regal.

I loved the general surprise and confusion when La Parka ran in to save Buff Bagwell from a beat down from Rick Steiner and Lex Luger.

I love this video so much. I know it's massively unprofessional and it's not even really that funny, but I find it hilarious throughout.

I loved the general surprise and confusion when La Parka ran in to save Buff Bagwell from a beat down from Rick Steiner and Lex Luger. This also set up the La Parka vs. Bagwell match on Nitro: Russo's first "shoot" where he and Ferrera's off-screen characters, The Powers That Be, booked Bagwell to lose to Parka, so Bagwell just laid down for him and spurred the wrath of the debuting Jeff Jarrett. So I THINK the whole reason for this was that Russo asked whoever was booking this (Nash?) to set up Bagwell vs. Parka on Nitro, and this is the half-assed way they did it. Still, I loved when WCW just got loose like this.

Considering some of the people and angles he'd put over through 1999 and 2000, it seems odd that putting over Regal would be the thing that pissed him off so much.

You know, half of the roster no-showed Thunder and they had to book a La Parka and Buff Bagwell main event tag team, as well as giving Lash Leroux both a match and promo time.

I chalk it up to the fact Tony was one of the few that was there for just about the entire run(barring his short WWF run) and here is a guy burying them like they were nothing. And here is a question: was they anybody who worked from JCP to WCW 2001 uninterrupted?

its kind of an old glory cliche to post that video at this point, but i admit its my favorite commentary performance of all time. i understand people questioning actually putting it on television, but if this was like a dvd bonus feature, like instead of the "real tv commentary" you get nash and someone making jokes, i would watch that version 100% of the time
theres also some wcw saturday night matches where the outsiders did the commentary on their own matches, its nothing as funny as this cause they dont have time to f*** around, but nash is still pretty funny there, too

It's hilariousc that seemingly, the less f***s Nash gave, WCW responded by giving him more money and power. He's a personal hero of mine.
