You should have the one guy wear it, have him come out proud of his helmet, pointing at it and telling the crowd "LOOK AT MY HELMET!" and talking about how great his helmet is. Telling everybody that replicas of his helmet are for sale now so all the fans can have a piece of his helmet. Everybodyh chanting for the guys helmet. Coming out without it at first, then teasing his helmet, telling everybody he's going to get his helmet out. Asking the crowd "DO YOU WANT TO SEE MY HELMET!!?!?!" and everyone going "HELMET! HELMET!" Val Venis made quite a few references to his helmet. Thank god they never sold replicas of it though.

It would work for people with an actual amateur background like Gable and Jordan, Swagger, etc, bringing back the Rick Steiner look. Would look stupid on someone like Cena or Orton though.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm not really experienced with wrestling helmets, my thought came more from watch Breaking Ground footage with them wearing the helmets, and I assumed it was to prevent learning concussions.
I got tore to shreds on reddit for suggesting this.

They should replace the ring with a bouncy castle. The wrestlers should wear bras too and instead of bodyslamming each other they should hug it out.

I was stunned last night when Bryan said how much he loved diving through the ropes.

There has been so much chatter about making the NFL helmets "safer" with cash going to research, and numerous rule changes. At the end of the day, football should not be sterilized..because it will still have the health risks, except it will not be as enjoyable to watch. Same with wrestling. It is a physical occupation and there is no getting around that, no matter what mumbo jumbo we hear about "awareness". Whether we are fans or not, and I am...I'm also aware that the human body is just not made for things like this. Young people should understand the risks and get in at their own discretion, but you can't sterilize it. It doesn't do anything beyond showing a gesture that the organization "cares." Yes, and god forbid a sport be made safer at the risk of making it less enjoyable to watch. I would hate if someone else's long-term brain function got in the way of my fan entitlement.

Not sure if you caught what I said there...the new helmets don't work. The brain still bangs off the inside of the skull. Side note: happy hump day everyone.

I was replying to your comment on football. I completely understand that helmets are designed to protect the outside of the head. That's been the storyline in football for years and years.
