Now the Season 2 finale is infamous but this seems to be forgotten about entirely. This was absolutely hilarious.

All i got from it at the time was David Otunga didn't care about his wife when it looked like Striker put his hand on Otunga as if he was going to stop him from getting mad and Otunga look at Striker like he has no clue what is going on

The 30:20 mark is where Wade and Otunga have a promo battle and Wade completely rips into the guy. Absolutely savage. Wade (at the time) was definitely the total package compared to the 7 other guys. Still an absolute shame he didn't get the title during his Nexus run.

They had him win the title after Bret vacated it, he was building up some momentum as a fighting champion, then they just randomly had him lose it to Miz to set up for the Bryan feud that started a couple months later. And, even more randomly, had it as a four way match on the Raw before Fatal Four Way to put over how unpredictable those are... and yet Truth was the one pinned basically defeating the point. |
