I have to say that it's good that we're not seeing a rehash of the plot from the first film. I mean, sure, Gerard Butler's character is going after terrorists again, but it's not in the confines of one building like how it was in "Olympus Has Fallen." I will still watch it, but I am not sure how good it will be. The trailers look interesting, yet there seems to be some dodgy CGI in some sequences.

I loved the original because it was basically the GI Joe vs. Cobra movie part of me always wanted to see (just imagine Cobra invading the White House like that).
This one.......looks impressive, but seems a bit rehashy. But again, the strength of the original helps it from being worse things than "a rehash," at least.

Looks decent as an action flick, and again I say, London really HAS become the trendy city to destroy/heavily damage in films lately, hasn't it?

This might be slightly off topic , but I loved the scene in the first one - when Morgan Freemans character is appointed the acting president

And good Lord, GI Joe was that long ago already?

But when are we going to get Buckingham Palace Down? I want to see this, but instead of a burly action hero get an actress and make her look like the queen and just have her Rambo her way through terrorist kind of like that old miniclip.com game from back in the day with George Bush and The Queen taking out terrorists.

I actually helped work on this film and can say (without bias) that I found it to be better than the first one. There are some incredible action sequences and it's actually quite violent at times. It's your quintessential mindless-action popcorn flick, but it hits all the right notes. I hope the members of FAN will see it in theaters and support your fellow brethren!

Is it keeping the R rating and not going the PG-13 route like most action movie series end up doing now?
