I wanted to take some time and fully digest the event.
Yes this ranks as one of the worst. You have your usual canidates for worst; V, XI and 2, To some degree you can defend those, wether that be the era or the thin roster but this recent mania really has no excuse.
As of typing this WWE has easily it's most stacked roster of wrestling talent from home grown guys to some of the best talent signed from around the world and what do they go with? In the case of the one match that could showcase someone new, The ATTGOTTBR, We got 3 local men, A retiree and Shaq.
Look not everyone who I want to win will win, I'm fine with that but Mania was such a long extended sour note with each seemingly being a bigger visual middle finger than the last.
I used to compare manias with other wrestling ppvs from ROH,CHIKARA and NJPW and always thought it was abit unfair, different products after all, Instead I'll use a show WWE themselves produced, NXT Takeover Dallas. How is it you go from one event with clean finishes and satisfying results to an utter shit show with the only decent match having a dirty finish?
At the end of the day I'm sure quite a few of you enjoyes the event and for that I'm happy that WWE is able to give someone somewhere an enjoyable product, I get the sense from the last event and how rabidly anti Roman that crowd was that I'm happily not in the "Internet smark" minority.

Reportedly, WWE legitimately drew 97,769 for Mania, which is by far their best attendance ever.

It was a middle of the road show for me.
I liked the ladder match (did not see Ryder winning it, he'll probably lose it tonight or at the next PPV). I was hoping Owens would retain so he could face Zayn for the IC title at the next PPV (Payback?), but it's one of those feuds that doesn't need a title anyways.
MOTN had to go the triple threat women's title match, they put everything into it and it was definitely not a pissbreak match.
I was underwhelmed by Lesnar/Ambrose, expected more of a fight from Ambrose, not sure where either goes from here.
Shane damn near killing himself is the only thing I remember from the HITC match with Taker, the rest was boring.
I was glad Corbin won the battle royal, big surprise there as I thought it would go to Kane for a minute there.
Main event was boring, I totally tuned out as the ending was never in doubt.
For me, it was 6/10.

I think maybe some of the results were Vince's revenge for those RANDY SAVAGE chants Steph got a few Raws ago.

Taker vs Shane , 3.5/6 (Shanes stunt was cool but besides that not really that memorable)
Diva-match 3/6 (Charlottes jump was awesome but that's about it)
Brock vs Ambrose 3/6 (is this the best you can do for WM , for shame)
HHH vs Regins 2/6 (ditto)

With Ambrose losing to Lesnar via pinfall, it now marks the point where all three members of The Shield have been pinned individually at Wrestlemania. Amrbose was in the ladder match last year, so, technically, already had a loss on record. Rollins lost to Orton and Reigns lost to Rollins' cash-in. The Shield remain undefeated as a unit.
Bit of useless trivia for you there.

I really liked it even though there were a lot of results I wasn't very happy with. Honestly, considering I actually got into matches I wasn't very hyped for, like New Day/LON and HHH/Reigns, it goes to show it was exciting. Genuinely and happily surprised to see Ryder win the IC title. I was expecting literally anyone else to win. I liked Shane vs Taker a lot. It was surprisingly good considering it was a middle-aged non-wrestler vs an aging wrestler who only wrestles occasionally any more. Oddly enough, Ambrose vs Lesnar, a match I WAS very much looking forward to, was a bit disappointing to me. It wasn't bad but it wasn't WrestleMania level. It was just kind of over and done with quicker than it should have and Ambrose came out looking rather weak, I think. I mean seriously, on Raw, he gets beat into a near coma, then comes back driving the ambulance that was taking him to the hospital but at Mania he can barely take a few suplexes? Oh and the chainsaw and barb-wired bat really didn't have any payoff at all, did they? Also, good to see the 4-times WWE Women's champion introduce the FIRST EVER WWE Women's championship. But seriously, aside from that bit of stupidity, I'm glad the women came off so well in this Mania. The feud was actually booked fairly well, the WWE genuinely put a lot of focus on it and the Triple Threat match was great, those three have excellent chemistry. I'm amazed a lot of people are actually calling it the match of the night but then again, it really was a great match. Please keep up the effort, WWE, you've got a good thing going. Speaking of the title, while I'm glad we got a more sportsy-looking title (although frankly I didn't think the Diva title looked THAT bad), I'm not super hot about the design. I really don't like this overly angular and generic design for this and the Heavyweight title and I really hope they don't start redesigning all their belts that way. This joke would have worked even better if Ryder winning a title was mentioned last. Because seriously, if before Mania, you asked me which was less likely between New Day coming out of a cereal box dressed a Sayians and Zack Ryder winning a title match, I would have laughed at your face for even suggesting that Ryder would win, let alone in a title match.

So happy to see the return of the Wrestlemania recap! Was such a good element that set WM apart from the rest of the ppvs.
