...and that's ok with me. I don't need to see these guys carving themselves with blades to get the same response. Here's an article on it with the alternate view showing Byron Saxton slipping him the blood capsule. link

That little girl screaming in the crowd must be traumatized.
I love it.

It gives us the intensity without any of the cutting. It looked damn real too. (Of course I was watching on an internet feed with variable quality, don't know about HD)
I'm good with it.

It looked like obvious fake blood, but real enough. It honestly doesn't have to be THAT real for me. I'm a wrestling fan, I can believe that a magic stone controls Mil Muertes' power. I can suspend my disbelief so that guys don't have to maul their own foreheads to try and sell a storyline.

Good, he can't be the face of WWE with a forehead like D-von.
However it's a shame this came out as it'll hurt his standing with a certain section (PG Sux!) of the audience even further.

I watched the clip a day later on WWE's youtube channel when the company used a black and white filter on the footage. I didn't notice. Since blood is rare these days, they can get away with it.

It looked real on his face but when he dried on wrist/fist tape it was a lot brighter then typical dried blood. Still created a good visual without any of the health risks.

Wait if it was fake blood, why bother with the blade? Or was it not a packet?

Good shit. It looked real enough and nobody had to cut their f***ing forehead open.

that's good. I saw it seemed to be coming from his nose/mouth. I thought he broke his nose.

It looked fine, but I think using fake blood a lot would be a big risk and make wrestling look ridiculous when it just wipes off. I admit I do love a bit of blood and I feel it adds a bit of realism and dynamism to matches. It's cool WWE allowed some blood on TV though, fake or not

I'm so glad it was. I never had any wrestling bloodlust to begin with and if it's a little bit safer for these guys then great.

It's cool WWE allowed some blood on TV though, fake or not Brock works stiff and gets busted open hardway. Nothing wrong with that, in principle. Cutting your face open? For a fake fight? That's a prick's errand.

I'm against blading, but I'd rather have no blood at all than fake blood.

In a form of entertainment where people fake fight over fake wins and losses to win fake titles, fake blood should be fine.
I was a mark for real blood, but I understand why it's not needed now.

That's a prick's errand. At least they're doing it for a lot of money, I knew a guy that used to do backyard wrestling in front of about five friends who would blade. That's a MEGA prick's errand.
