For me, that house show would have been ruined long before Big Show and Kane lumbered down the aisle!

This was the same card in White Plains the night before and the crowd popped for The Local Men. Which makes you think maybe not everyone has the same opinion as this message board. The match actually was better than I expected and it seems Bray is healthy. The US title match was the best on the card and all the matches were given ample time. When I went to a Raw/Superstars taping in 2014, Big Show was first one out and got one of the biggest reactions of the night. He was a face for his match against Titus too.

That's not the message board's opinion though as we're not a hivemind. Kane and Show have lots of fans here, it just seems prevalent because the Local Man name itself is popular, even amongst fans of the guys.

Sin Cara vs Diego alone makes this worth the price of admission. Can you believe they're wasting this match on house shows? That's a main event anywhere in the country.

house shows tend to be smelly ever since they stopped recording them for TV. I went to one 2 years ago and it seemed like a dress rehersal for a ppv. I loved HS back in the 80s and early 90s because there would always be a cool odd match between guys who never crossed paths on TV. Also back then it was the only way to see non jobber squash matches outside of PPV or Primetime. A low budget Sat morn main event didnt count because it would be something likd Kato vs Koko b ware.

House shows have generally always been warm up for recent PPVS.
Or at the very least seeing if two guys mesh well enough in the ring to go have an actual PPV feud.
As well as the lower card guys time to wrestle and try out new stuff to try and catch on with the audience.

That sounds like an awesome episode of 3-Hour Superstars.
