So I watched Batman v Superman today and my creative juices started flowing. Anyway, I think I know how the Taker/Shane match is going to end...
As expected, Shane and Taker will nearly destroy each other. There may or may not be a lot of interference (but I'm confident there will at least be SOME). When both men are down, John Cena will come out to make sure nobody else interferes. After Shane hits some insane move and it seems like he may just win it...Cena seemingly helps him up, but gives him an Attitude Adjustment (maybe through a table or something). This will allow Taker to get the win and will finally provide us with that heel turn people seem to be clamp ring for. It also allows Cena to get involved without really having to do too much due to his injury.
The next night on Raw, Cena would explain that he did it because Vince stuck with him through the years and believed in him, etc. Shane will join forces with someone (possibly Roman, with Vince thinking it'll help him get over as a face...but it won't) and feud with Cena. Hopefully they won't make him "corporate" Cena, but rather just a guy that got tired of always doing the right thing and getting crapped on for it. Now he's in it for himself, etc.
Thoughts?

I wonder if the Austin appearance will be saved for the main event?
The brand split rumors have given the finish a whole new wrinkle.

Shane gets the beatdown of his life, Vince feels bad for him, tries to stop Taker, inadvertently gets Shane the win. HHH and Steph freak out at Vince, Vince costs HHH the title against Roman in the main event.
Well, that's what I thought of, anyway.
I...actually kind of hate that there's a lot of focus on the McMahons in that scenario.
Come on Vince, you sent me home happy with the Seth Rollins twist last year, do it one more time...

They've managed to get me to root for Taker for the first time ever, so that's something.

I would mark out if Titus O'Neil interferes and helps Shane win!

The Authority is never going away, right? They'll just have SmackDown, if the rumors of a brand split are true.

Triple H would actually make a good neutral authority figure. I can't buy Stephanie in that role though.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be an awkward brawl with Shane putting up too much of an actual fight instead of relying on weapons and run-ins and it'll end with Taker hitting the Tombstone out of nowhere with that being the end of it. I also think it's going to close the show out.

I also think it's going to close the show out. This is all very likely. I've never said "I'm done" about wrestling but if Mania closes with Shane McMahon winning, I really think I'll need an extended break.

I'm seeing this as Taker going out on his own terms. He and Shane will beat the hell out of each other, there will be interference, etc. In the end Taker tombstones Shane. After this he looks to the crowd for a bit, almost like Warrior at Wrestlemania VII. He decides to retire himself by putting Shane on top of himself and doing the good deed of ending the authority in the process. Show ends with the big "Thank you Taker" moment.

Give Russo the book and tell him go nuts for Shane vs. Taker.

Give Russo the book and tell him go nuts for Shane vs. Taker. That's genuinely how this should be done. Like, maybe not literally, but this match needs to be an Attitude time capsule carwreck with tons of crazy shit going on, not straight one-on-one.

I would mark out if Titus O'Neil interferes and helps Shane win! I could see Titus going into business for himself and interfering in this match off script. Hopefully he brings Josh from Tough Enough with him.

I think the Wyatts interfere on behalf of Shane. It seems very suspicious that they don't have a match yet, and the Andre the Giant Battle Royal seems a little beneath them given the amount of top feuds they have been in and the amount of screen time Bray gets.
