If the crowd just went "f*** it" and spend the whole main event on their phones,it would be so much more beautiful than just booing

The worse thing about the main event angle was that it was an inferior copy of the exact same thing they did with Taker and Lesnar about 9 months ago.

And to top it all off, 2 divas effectively re-debuted after over a year off TV.

Do you think WWE knows that if they swapped Ambrose and Reigns' spots, fans would be all over it? Like, exact same stories, just switching the face.

They probably do, but they're basically the equivalent of a university student at this point. They've gotten too far into the essay to scrap it and start again, so they'll have to power through and hope that the final result will be well received. Anyway, Reigns/HHH will most likely be a very good match but unfortunately we're going to be watching it just to see how the crowd reacts.

Authority comes out to end the show with the exact same promo they cut in the middle of the show. Roman comes out again and brawls with Triple H (for the 3rd time tonight). Heels come help Triple H. Faces come help Roman. Crowd is silent throughout all of this. Roman jumps over the top rope onto the entire roster. Fans chant "you still suck" after popping for a millisecond. Crowd goes silent again. Triple H crawls up the ramp while all the idiotic wrestlers look at him in shock. Triple H and Stephanie pose. Show ends. That millisecond pop is more than Roman has gotten in forever. Things are looking up. For the first time in forever There'll be magic, there'll be fun For the first time in forever I could be cheered by someone And I know it is Uso crazy To dream the fans would change their stance But for the first time in forever At least I've got a chance

The worse thing about the main event angle was that it was an inferior copy of the exact same thing they did with Taker and Lesnar about 9 months ago. Exactly this ^ Only infinitely better the first time. The difference between those two brawls (as similar as they were) only put a magnifying glass on just how phoned in and lazy the whole thing felt. Someone put it beautifully in the Raw thread, commenting on how Taker and Brock seemed like two real dudes that hated each other's guts and would have killed each other if there weren't an entire locker room of guys pulling them apart. This time around it felt lazy, heatless, scripted and produced (the heels and faces separated and the infinitely unlikable Uso's etc) with Roman seeming like he was more concerned with protecting his stupid nose than kicking HHH's ass. JBL and Cole's desperate attempts to out-shout the boos and chants while they turned the audience mics down just made it all the more annoying. At least they acknowledged Cena's "controversial" crowd-splitting whereas they just look like delusional morons when it comes to Reigns.

If you think about it, the main story of the Vince/Taker v Shane match is that the company is going down the shitter with the Authority and Vince growing out of touch. People were getting things that they don't deserve. Last night did a hell of a job building that story.

Even though it's been sort of haphazardly (word?) put together, this story has played out nicely and almost believably considering half of the match is an even less regular wrestler than Taker himself.

If the crowd just went "f*** it" and spend the whole main event on their phones,it would be so much more beautiful than just booing Honestly what would really send a message would be people just not buying tickets to the show, but this year was so odd in that we had the initial number of people who bought tickets in advance, then a lull, then suddenly it seemed like every last seat was bought up in a matter of a couple of weeks all during what many fans are calling an awful build up. People just want to be a part of that scene, and I guess it's hard to fully blame them since you don't get many chances to sit around something like at least 65,000+ other wrestling fans very often, but it's tougher to voice complaints about the product when WM remains a cash cow and PR bonanza for WWE, hence giving them little reason to reassess and change things around very much.

Granted, by the same token, TV is their bread and butter and more than anything what they depend on, and compared to this time last year they've suffered a massive drop in numbers, so clearly audience dissatisfaction is fairly widespread.

That millisecond pop is more than Roman has gotten in forever. Things are looking up. Nah, it's the same pop you here for a millisecond when his song hits due to the fangirl cheers embedded into the track. Brilliant use of sampling, I must admit. The dive over the ropes was annoying. I hate when they do it ONTO THE WHOLE ROSTER like that's more impressive, when really that just means you have 50 people there to catch you, and one person's weight shouldn't be able to do damage to all those people.

There is a new RAW trend. The first two or three segments are somewhere between 'just fine' and 'really good'. Then the show dies.
Between Ambrose and Lesnar having zero interaction on the freakin' go home show, Eva Marie, and a needlessly long six man tag... I swear it's like they were asking Brooklyn to tune out.

Have you watched any 1994 RAW's? They perfected it at least 22 years ago.

As much as they tried to make it look impressive, this is still the best "diving onto the whole roster & knocking them all down" moment...

They were dead long before the final segment of the night. Of the combined 15,000 people in attendance, they collectively gave zero f***s about the six-man tag team match. I'd honestly thought something horrible had happened in the crowd because I couldn't wrap my head around why they were so quiet for Sami Zayn's hot tag.
Which is a shame. People are going to wonder why Zayn and Kevin Owens are floundering in the midcard instead of being pushed to the main event scene and it'll be because WWE will look at nights like last night, when Zayn and Owens are brawling and Zayn pins his blood rival six days before WrestleMania and the crowd decides they'd rather be chanting "C-M-PUNK!" or "J-B-L!" instead of appreciating the talented wrestlers busting it in the ring in front of them.
