You just know the next night it'll be all:
Shane: Woo I control Raw!
HHH: Yeah but I control your belt!
Shane: No way Raw trumps belt, you do what I say
HHH: I'm the bestest, you can't have Raw without me, it's my belt and I'm not playing but unlike CM Punk I won't be back next week.

I will scream. It might be a breaking point if he wins AND then gets to do the smug "Roman sure sucks huh guys?" in front of the post WM Raw crowd. I'm just so done with him as an onscreen anything.

This is the greatest lose-lose WM I can remember.
No matter who wins either main event, the result will still be uninteresting.
Unless Finn Balor & the Balor Club make some kind of coup on WWE as a whole, taking out Shane, Taker, Reigns & HHH in one go. That would at least be something that I'd feel bad about missing.

If Shane wins, great, he controls Raw for something like 4 months tops until everything is back as usual again. We all know HHH and Steph are in it for the long haul when it comes to taking over the WWE. I couldn't really care less about Undertaker retiring from WrestleMania either, because its something he should've done when he took the loss to Brock. Having his only other loss to 46 year-old, grey-haired man, who isn't even a wrestler, sort of ruins the legacy of the streak IMO. This would have to be one hell of a screwjob for Shane to win. So if Undertaker wins, the entire angle is for nothing, and everything resumes as normal again. If Shane wins, he controls Raw for like a few months, until everything resumes as normal again.. Even if Shane controls Raw, we all know HHH ain't gonna be cool with that, but right now he's busy feuding with Roman. I just forsee HHH feuding with Shane after WrestleMania. Which is really disappointing because instead of having a 46 year old man (HHH) main-event WrestleMania (I think he's older than Hogan was at this point), it should've been HHH vs Shane in the HIAC match, and the WWE Title mach having somebody who isn't HHH. |
