Mixed feelings on it, myself. On one hand it makes total sense-the two top guys of the two top US promotions of the last previous decade, kinda like Hogan va Flair back in the 80's. But with how AJ has been booked since his debut, I think it would be a strange fit. AJ is firmly established in the midcard now, so he would need a mega push to be depicted as on the same level with Cena, and I can't picture WWE referencing AJ's time as a top guy in TNA, siding other mechanism would be needed to set him up for a program with Cena. But I feel safe in saying that were it to take place, the two of hem could probably bring the house down.

Two of the best North American wrestlers ever tearing it up in their current primes? Hell yeah brother. I'd pay to see it. I don't even need a story, just give them 20+ and I'm in.

Of course, who wouldn't??
Doesn't need to be done over 4 PPVs/specials and with Cena going over most of these times

No, because AJ will lose. I don't even care about AJ losing. I would love to see this.

No, she's tiny and I don't think CM Punk would be too happy about it.

No, she's tiny and I don't think CM Punk would be too happy about it. And isn't she pregnant with octuplets or something? Jokes that have been buried into the ground notwithstanding, I'd like to see AJ vs Cena. Not only is it one of the fresh matches available, both men are more than capable of having a great match.

Absolutely, wanted to see it for years. Come up with some quickie feud to put the match on PPV, give them about 20 minutes, they'll tear the house down. If Cena has his actual working boots on instead of the, "I'm just gonna no-sell everything in a ridiculous spotfest," thing he was doing most of last year, anyway.

I've wanted to see this match for nearly 10 years. I would always fantasy book TNA vs WWE back in 2011 and Styles vs Cena and Cena vs Joe were the two bigger matches I would make. Its surreal to think both of these matches can happen within the year.
