I'm not completely sure this is about setting up a screwy finish but rather they don't think HHH/Reigns can have a great wrestling match together without it being filled with chairs and brawling around the arena.

Shane beats Taker, then Shane comes out and helps Roman win. On Raw, Usos turn heel. At the end of Raw, Shane calls out Roman and The Usos. They are tired of being disrespected by the company and the fans. Triple H comes out and congratulates them for taking over Raw. However, he's got a special going away gift he wants to give them.
Lights go out.
Lights comes on.
Baylor, Gallows, and Anderson are in the ring and they attack Roman and The Usos to end Raw.

The problem is that even with that stipulation, we already have Brock/Dean and Taker/Shane, which will be brawls. Pretty much the same format as WM17 and that worked out perfect with all the brawls. Hype is up 10x I admire your enthusiasm. A lesson we could all learn.

IF YA SMELLLLLL
Don't deny it, you know they're thay stupid and I doubt Dwayne even cares that much as 3 months later they'll cheer him.
Or hell go full Hollywood and double team the game and heel it up a bit. I think a heel Rock MAY even be able to salvage the odd cheer or two......maybe. But most likely not.
Edit: Double post, apologies.

Yeah, pretty much everyone has been expecting this match to end in a screwy fashion no matter the outcome. Most likely someone helping Reigns prevent interference from Authority allies. They've gotta hope that the perception of carnage and the intrigue of who might interfere will prevent a total backlash.
The top 3 matches on this card will be overbooked as hell. That doesn't mean they'll be bad, they should be quite entertaining actually, just be prepared for lots of run-ins and crazy spot moments.

So basically, HHH gets to attempt to use the sledgehammer, misses, and Reigns hits him with it followed by a spear and win.
Cool.

Shane beats Taker with Vince's help, Reigns beats HHH with the help of the McMahons. This causes a double turn where the summer program is sympathetic face HHH and Stephanie vs Heel Roman and the McMahons with a returning John Cena feuding with Reigns.
Enjoy!

Everybody keeps talking about a screwy finish to this match. I don't get it, it's not like there is a guy out there who's known for crashing WM main events, and has beefs with both HHH and Roman. Oops, sorry Seth, didn't see you standing there.

Good idea Is there anyone who would prefer seeing HHH win? I mean really?? The entire mania crowd will be cheering HHH. It'll be like the HHH/Cena mania match but even worse. And for my money, that's why you have Roman win a "Brock kills Cena" style squash match. Roman would be, in effect, intentionally killing the crowd by making the point "I'm taking away what you want to cheer for, and there's nothing you can do about it"; it'd establish Roman as somebody who couldn't care less what the crowd thinks, and Trips not even getting any real offense in edgewise would keep the Trips cheers down. Go ahead and book the Hell in a Cell match as the main event, because there should be nothing about this match that caters to "sending the fans home happy", because there is no real happy ending to this match no matter how they book it.

To be honest, I can't think of any outcome of the Reigns/HHH match that I'd be happy with. All I know is I'm sickened at Triple H being WWE champion in 2016, but I don't want it to be Roman either. No DQ makes no difference to me. It's amazing that they've managed to make all three of the top matches Lose/Lose scenarios. While I feel like I'm more interested now in how they get to there (ie. Who's running in), you're right--I'm just as uninterested in the winner. Unless they do the Roman heel turn. I don't kmow if that would be ultimately successful, but the initial spark should generate some buzz at least.

20 minutes in they'll have Reigns get injured and then he willingly walks to the back. Triple H pulls out a chair and cuts a long winded promo and is interrupted by The Rock, who pauses for about eight consecutive minutes holding his hand up while the crowd chants for him. Then after a Rock promo he's interrupted by...Stephanie McMahon, who cuts a long winded promo. The Rock leaves but while Triple H and Stephanie watch him go Roman sneaks up behind them, and spears Triple H and wins.

Not too surprising. This way they can throw in some big spots, and really the storyline was calling for it. Shows they might've at least learned something from the past, namely how completely incorrectly Triple H / Orton was done.

I'm guessing they are going to be doing some color, judging by the build up to the match.
The question is whether they try doing the packets, or if they just eat the fines that would go with blading, which Hunter does have a history of doing.

There is a slight problem with that scenario: HHH is the single most insecure, ego driven wrestler in the history of the business. Ha ha, no. Triple H has an ego, sure, but I can think of WAY worse than him.

Oops, sorry Seth, didn't see you standing there. Watch out for his mostly jelly leg. Do you mean the jelly leg that he's been back in the ring, rehabbing, for a while now at the Performance Center? Seth will be ready for action again shortly and this would be the perfect time/place to reintroduce him. He'll come out on Sunday and costs HHH the belt. Then the speculation begins "Did he do it to help his Shield brother, Roman? Or did he do it to screw over his former boss (HHH) that humiliated him publicly?"
