With uncertainty on his post-Wrestlemania future, word is coming out on some exclusive information on what Shane McMahon will be doing and how it relates to his WWE future. Ever since he's returned to WWE programming, many have speculated on whether Shane will have a backstage role within the company; the supposed realization of Stephanie McMahon and her husband, Triple H, being chosen to succeed Vince McMahon in running the company, seemingly over Shane, by Vince himself. There has been some reported disagreement with creative decisions between Vince and Shane, and the word is Shane will not be getting any further role in contributing to the company in a backstage capacity.
Also, while the stipulation for the Hell in a Cell match is for The Undertaker is to never compete at Wrestlemania again if he loses, a potential hint at his retirement, another veteran that has retirement rumors swirling around them, Sting, is said to have some impact on the result with his recent public denial of his retirement. Still lobbying for a Wrestlemania match with Undertaker, officials are fearful of eliminating that opportunity for a big money match at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando by having Shane win this year at Wrestlemania.
Numerous sources are reporting this is leading to WWE to finalize the decision of having Shane lose at Wrestlemania, but getting Sting for an appearance at the event to offset any negative crowd reaction to Shane losing. Considering Wrestlemania 32 as a "last run" for himself on WWE programming, it is believed Shane McMahon will pursue other business ventures on his own, similarly to his last exit from the company, reportedly to the disdain of Vince McMahon. It is rumored Shane is planning to start a company centered around apiculture (bee-keeping) to introduce a new brand of organic honey to the market, potentially to be called "Here Comes the Honey". Shane is also reported to be in talks with Party City, a chain of party supply stores, for a new division dedicated to Easter decorations, with a trademark for a brand name, "Here Comes the Bunny", said to have been filed within the last week.
In an appeal to keep him from leaving once again, Vince has reportedly offered Shane a multi-year contract to star in a WWE Network comedy show, "Here Comes the Funny", but supposedly to no avail. In the mean time, Shane is said to be enjoying his last run, and looks to be celebrating April Fool's Day with his family.
