For some fans maybe. For some of the workers maybe. For the top brass? Vince mcmahons theme song says hello.

Too much talent on the rosters. There isn't anyone who is irreplaceable (to the left to the left)

They just need to work on his booking on the main roster, he could be one of the main baby faces on. The show for the foreseeable future if they book him right.

Short answer, no. Long answer, NOOOOOOO. He's very good and has a lot of potential for them, but if they lost him today they'd barely be phased by it, particularly on the main roster where (largely due to the complete lack of introduction or focus) he comes out to crickets every week. See: Fandango There's every chance that the British Invasion crowd will kick start the crowd.

Zayn has a lot of qualities about him that make him really valuable to the WWE. He's a natural face, he's great at selling, he's a safe worker, he's fantastic in the ring and the fans love him.

People still think NXT great equals main roster star? Not til Vince dies. Wasn't that long ago Tyler BReeze had the thank you match with the Japanese megastar.

He is obviously liked backstage, the guy has been nothing but the near perfect professional since he joined the company. He could be the next D-Bry once he finds his niche on the main roster.

Tyler Breeze wasn't in a ladder match at WM 2 days later. It's the fifth-billed match on the card and also features Sin Cara, Stardust and Zack Ryder. They obviously like Sami but it's an obvious reach to try to position his weekend as some huge watershed moment.

99 percent of the NXT guys, though AMAZING wrestlers couldn't draw flies on the big national stage. You can get your wrestling fix with NXT but this is where I agree with Vince.. They won't draw huge crowds for the mainstream.
They are niche audience wrestlers and NXT Is s niche audience product Like an ECW was.
All the wrestling fans state NXT is amazing. Yea amazing to WRESTLING fans.. But wrestling fans don't grow the business. They will watch regardless. Vince sees this

I think fans need to be patient with Zayn getting over big on the main roster. If fans aren't that into him right away, it doesn't automatically mean that WWE sucks at booking him and that it's all over. NXT was the perfect environment for him as one of the most beloved independent wrestlers, the crowd there was primed to embrace him. He'll get over eventually on the main shows, it may just take some time because that special something he brings to the table isn't so obvious right away to everyone.

Sami was in tears because he already knows what the main roster is like.

Man, Swagsuke was awesome but as with most classics, you need both parties to be amazing, and Sami was that. You want to show off Nakamura, they got the right guy; not Apollo, Baron, maybe Finn or Joe, but even then, I'd take Sami over them to introduce Nakamura to the US audience.
So important in that sense, yes. Not sure if he'll make you money, but as a promoter, Vince and Trips better be happy they have him.
