I liked the match, but I have to admit that I feel like they're trying to do some things in-ring that they shouldn't for their experience level. Like, Charlotte's moonsault worked out fine, but I was cringing the whole time she was setting up for it expecting the worst. It looked like Sasha's dive nearly went south before she rotated at the last possible second. There were a few minor spots (the german suplex/sunset flip, for an example) that just didn't work due to them moving too fast or nerves or whatever. Re-reading this it sounds like I'm super down on the match, but I really did like it. It's just the culmination of things I've noticed where sometimes people try to do too much too soon. I loved all of that stuff because it showed much all three of them were "on" and letting the adrenaline take them to a higher level than they normally operate at. Not much of that elsewhere tonight. A bit from Shane.

Loved it. I like all three of the women, so Charlotte retaining doesn't bug me. I find it confusing they didn't go with a crowd favorite at Mania just for that feel good moment, but a hero needs a villain to conquer, so I'm excited to see this story play out anyway.

I think one thing that made me a little more open to the ending, despite massively pulling for Sasha through the whole thing, was watching the 'Divas Generation' episode of Table For 3 with Charlotte the other day, hearing her story about how she was convinced to get into wrestling by Reid, and her grief at how he ultimately never got to see her wrestle or see her progress. Must mean a lot to her to be able to do something like this.
But ultimately, women's wrestling was presented as hugely important with the marquee entrances, and the match was given the time it deserved. They're proper superstars, with a dignified looking belt, and we got to go without the ridiculous 'bathroom break' stuff in the thread, too. If the momentum keeps up at future PPVs, we've got a bright future ahead of us for the Women's division, and Sasha and Becky will have their chances to shine.

Why does becky lose so much though??? Unofficial J.O.B. Squad member? Seriously though, kayfabe-wise Becky's gotta be out of contention. Payback (is that what's next now?) is either a Triple Threat rematch or most likely Charlotte vs. Sasha one-on-one. Becky did not get a damn win over either two since the Rumble, I believe. She was there for...well, pin me, pay me.

Absolutely loved this match. You could tell all the girls were pumped because the strikes looked crisper than normal, you could tell they all wanted to make this something special and they really, really did. How far we've come from Cameron trying to pin Naomi while she was lying face down.
Was really pulling for Becky though. I really thought it would be her night. Sentiment echoed that Becky needs it more than Sasha right now.

I think the ladder match was better overall, because the ladies match had a ton of sloppy spots in it, including one that almost caused a casualty, but credit to all of them for a really good match.

The match was great and im not really too pissed at Charlotte winning (ive always liked long heel title reigns) but this was Wrestlemania and was the perfect place for Becky to finally win the title
Sasha is great but Becky has been fantastic over the last few months and has been the best face in the womens division for a long time (great in ring and mic work). She is also the only one of the four horsewomen yet to win a title in either NXT or on the main roster. This should have been her moment. She has constantly been screwed by the Flairs and Wrestlemania should be the place for babyfaces to win so Becky should have walked out as champion.
The big celebration for a babyface win was something that i felt was missing from this Wrestlemania. Ryder and Reigns were the only faces who won last night but Reigns celebration was weak since most fans booed him. Becky winning would have been a great Wrestlemania moment for the womens match
Becky is by far my favourite female on the roster so i might be biased, but she was the best possible choice to win IMO. Sasha has yet to connect on the main roster and still needs to build up her character. Charlotte has been great as a heel but Becky needed to be the one to end her reign at the big show. I really hope they dont now forget about Becky and push her to the side in favour of Sasha. Thats just not fair to Becky after what she has done on the main roster
She is the 'Dean Ambrose' of the Four Horsewomen and that isnt necessarily a bad thing, but i really hope she becomes Womens Champion in the future. She is too good to be forgotten about. If i had my way, i would have Sasha feud with Paige/Nattie to build her up as the next top heel in the division and then have Becky finally beat Charlotte (in a match where Ric is banned from ringside). Becky and Sasha then feud at Summerslam where Sasha beats her and moves on to feud with Bayley. Everyone would then get their chance as champion (which they all deserve)
Please dont forget about Becky

It's the new era, here's the same bitch. The worst of the 3 gets to be the first Women's Champion and Ric STILL is a karma houdini. Seriously, we couldn't get Becky giving him a suplex? Calling her a bitch is really a bit much. I don't care if you don't like her character or her wrestling or that I do. Completely uncessary.

And with the way this board acts anytime Charlotte comes out on top you'd swear she killed people's family.

And with the way this board acts anytime Charlotte comes out on top you'd swear she killed people's family. I think people just like the other 2 more. I like Charlotte. Aside from a lack of selling sometimes I think she's nailing her heel character and has a lot of potential to be great. I know people are mad but I think that the ending was good. I think it had the right effect. Sasha didn't lose cleanly so she's still in the mix and Ric can maybe get some boos and stop people just wooing whenever he's around. Also there was no way they'd miss the chance to have Ric Flair's daughter be the first women's champ to add to the "prestige" of it so they can talk about it forever.

It was absolutely the match of the night, and how great it is to be able to say that about the ladies. For them to be given that platform is fantastic, to be called "superstars", to have that swank new belt...as a long time fan of WWE women's wrestling it's incredible to see this change.
It wasn't a perfect match by any means. Obviously there was the miscommunication on the sunset flip, which was covered for well, but especially in the beginning it felt like they had fit a little too much into their time and were rushing ever so slightly to get it all in.
And of course, the wrong woman came out on top. This had been built for months and either Sasha or Becky could have walked away the victor and it would have felt right; Charlotte's victory just left a fantastic match on a sour note. Maybe they have a plan, but I feel like it was done solely to give Charlotte the first reign of the new title. They've built up this story (quite solidly) and flubbed the last chapter. Wrestlemania should be the big moment. It should be the exclamation point. They failed on that, which is a shame.

Calling her a bitch is really a bit much. I don't care if you don't like her character or her wrestling or that I do. Completely uncessary. I wasn't directing that at Ashley Flair as a person. I'm just wondering why this whole build was for change, and yet "f*** you, same long boring reign, but now it's Moolah's belt instead of Michelle's" The only way this makes any sense to me is if Bayley pulls a Paige tonight.

I tend to rehash the same points, but the only thing that really bothered me was that Lynch took the fall, again. They have been selling it like these three are equals, but she's been on the bad side of just about every major finish this year. Although I'm fine with Charlotte or Sasha winning, Becky unequivocally needed the win the most.
That being said: I loved the match. Really over the whole "build up this new division, only to have it overshadowed by Ric Flair" nonsense, but hell of a match. All three did what they were supposed to and good on them.

Good match. It's a shame that drunken old goblin had to be involved. They really don't need him around to sell Charlotte as a heel. If they want to give her a lacky, fine, but just make it someone like Summer Rae or Alicia Fox.
Also, Becky should have won. She needs to get to the top of the mountain before she becomes a joke, like Dean Ambrose.

Ric getting involved...yeah, don't know why that happened. But was still a good match, and I won't take that away.
As for why Charlotte won this one...well, my theory is this: the match wasn't complete yet. Tonight, on Raw, the last puzzle piece arrives:

At Wrestlemania 27 the only women's match had two men in it plus a reality TV star and a woman who'd been retired for five years and went straight back into retirement afterwards. It went 3 minutes and 17 seconds.
At Wrestlemania 28 the only women's match saw the Divas champion pinned by a TV presenter. It went 6 minutes and 49 seconds.
At Wrestlemania 29 there was no women's match, and the Divas champion only appeared in a pre-taped commercial.
At Wrestlemania 30 every woman on the roster was involved in a 6-minute clusterf*** that went on while the crowd was still reeling from the most shocking result in Mania history.
At Wrestlemania 31 we had another 6-minute filler tag match where the champion lost.
At Wrestlemania 32 we had a 16-minute barnburner with a hot crowd, pyro and memorable spot after memorable spot.
It was a rocky road, but it looks like we got our Revolution after all. For once, WWE promised change and delivered.
