Why would it continue? Everyone told Dean he would get his ass kicked, Heyman literally laughed at the idea of him winning, then Dean got his ass kicked. He's a chump who's not remotely in Brock's league, the end. Yep, in what should have been a star making performance where Dean got his ass kicked and kept coming... (which could have been done win or lose mind you) they just killed him dead instead.

The most annoying part of all of it was that Dean didn't even need to win. He just needed to look good.
Sure, the announcer narrative is that Dean put up an awesome fight and came up short. That's what a lot of people, myself included, wanted. That's not the match that they put on. Brock was never phased by Dean in the match. Sure, there were a few tiny flurries of offense out of Dean, but ultimately, Brock shook it off, won clean and walked away like he'd banged his knee on the kitchen counter.
With five to ten more minutes in the match, they would've gotten what they needed. But it's not about what they need, it's about what Vince wants.

They didn't do that because the scrappy underdog fighting for his life but coming up short spot had to a 50-year-old non-wrestler for some stupid, stupid reason.

Nope
They're saving someone beating Brock cleanly for Roman Reigns so we can see how cool he is and how relatable he is.

Brock is getting written off tomorrow by the Wyatts who will be in a nasty mood over being embarrassed by Cena and the Rock. And they'll lose that feud, too.

Dean wouldn't have beaten him a straight up match. But again... Dean didn't HAVE to win that match... he just had to look like an unkillable threat. and they botched that hard.

This was probably the most baffling match on the card for me. I went into it not having any particular expectation of either Ambrose or Lesnar winning, they could have done either. But regardless of the result, the completely forgettable match they had is a real shame. You've got Ambrose out there and the only limit is imagination as far as what kind of weird weapon spots can happen. Best of all, weapon spots are safe unless someone is really reckless or something, there's no painful bump to take going off something through a table or getting dropped on your head. Yet we got...what we got. I don't even remember what happened in the match at this point and the match was only 16 hours ago.

Why would anyone expect a different outcome? Suck Lesnar was always going to win with his three moves of doom. I love seeing how people are down on him now, when it's the same damn matches that have taken place since Vince hired his worthless hoss carcass back. Sad thing is the number of fans that still cheer as the part-timer continues to bury everyone he's up against.

I never expected Dean to win or really care if Lesnar won but the execution of what should of been a star making performance was completely off. The weapons gave them an out to make Lesnar look as vulnerable as possible becausse Dean was in his element. However, what we got was 12 minutes of 80% Brock and 20% Dean. 10 more minutes and it would been made. Even if they did a copy of Punk/Lesnar from Summerslam a few years back it would of been a good match Dean looking good in defeat. A match many thought was going to steal ending up being very disappointing.
