I know there's a thread here and there for EVOLVE. However, with them becoming more and more important to the landscape of wrestling, I figured we can track the company in this thread...

I know a whole thread was dedicated to this, but to get the ball rolling...

I was there live for 58, 59, and Mercury Rising.
They were all awesome shows, especially the latter. Well worth grabbing the VoDs for.
Osprey was the WM weekend MVP

I was able to watch EVOLVE 58 and 59 this week. Definitely solid shows.
Will Ospreay is tearing it up everywhere he goes. Loved his matches on 58 and 59.

Mercury Rising was essentially an Evolve show that happened to have one FIP and one Shine match on it. Definitely watch it if you're into Evolve.

If this is for all things EVOLVE, I have a question? What is their DVD situation? Seems like their DVDs for events come out quite a while after the events? Is this normal or just something recently?

Gabe's crew has always been slow getting DVDs out. It wasn't as horrible when he was with ROH, but even then it took longer than it probably should have. With EVOLVE (and DGUSA), it's very common for the shows to take a while to come out. Luckily for me (kind of), I don't have a lot of room left for DVDs and Blu Rays. Therefore, I've been buying the shows on VOD. They are pretty quick to get them uploaded. They are always up within a few days.

it's become normal for them. they became so focused on VODs (most likely because it's a hell of a lot cheaper) that at one point they were about 1 1/2 to 2 years behind in getting the dvds produced. fans got so annoyed that when they jump started for the third or fourth time, they decided to just skip over all the shows that hadn't been released so the could start working on the new shows

Kinda want to see that show just for Hero/Sabre Jr. That was one of the best matches I saw last year.

Glad to see EVOLVE is starting to get the ball rolling and starting to grow after floundering for a few years while Gabe just tried to be ROH 2.0. As soon as he started to just book EVOLVE a different way from other indies it started to grow.

Has the influx of help from the WWE helped the production values? I keep trying to get into EVOLVE because I think the style of wrestling is up my alley but I cannot get past how bad everything looks and sounds.

How do you guys typically watch the shows? I'm not the biggest fan of just watching them on my laptop and the quality typically isn't great connecting my laptop to my TV through HDMI.
Their website is $14.99 for the live show and VOD. FITE TV connects into my TV but it seems to be $19.99 per show with no VOD, unless I am reading that wrong. Any other great way to watch the shows?

The production still sucks. I'm hoping that it gets better soon with the help from WWE.
I like to watch the shows on my Roku player. It's the easiest way to to watch them, in my opinion. However, if you don't have a Roku player, then I have found that watching the shows on either the iPad or iPhone via the Puffin app (a web alternative) works pretty well. If you don't have an Apple device, then...I don't know, haha.

I'll be buying 60 and 61. I plan on watching them on my Xbox One in the browser.
