also it only took me 25 years to realize that Little Face had a normal sized head with a small face and not an oversized head which made his face seem small in comparison.

I'm still waiting on that deluxe DVD release that Beatty said he was working on like 10 years ago...........which was finally released as a barebones standard DVD that I could never find and, last I checked, was out of print.
He's literally sat on the rights for 20 years. I'd love to see a sequel, but I have no faith anymore that the man will actually do it.
He did, however, do........this: an in-character Q&A/documentary with Leonard Maltin, which aired in 2010 on TCM; and I'd reckon was done so he could keep the rights...

I've got the dvd. It's good, but like you said, it's bare bones as hell.
I don't necessarily even wanna see Beatty in the role given that he's a senior citizen, but a sequel/another movie in that same vein I'm down for.

Star Wars is Star Wars. There's always gonna be demand for it. As fun as the first one was, are people really clamouring for a Dick Tracy sequel almost three decades later? Warren Beatty is clamouring for it and if it was up to him Dick Tracy 2 would be immediately be followed by Untitled Flattop Standalone Film and Untitled Pruneface Standalone film being put into production. Not to mention the Origin Story prequel.

That may be one of the most embarrassing things I've ever watched. As far as comic book TV specials go, it makes the 1988 SNL Superman special and the Super Heroes Roast look like Emmy and Pulitzer winning pieces.

Y'know, using Leonard Maltin as a character, this means that the Dick Tracy, MST3k and Gremlins universes are actually one shared universe.

Also kinda the WWE since Hogan was in Gremlins 2 in full outfit... also then the Muppets (Regardless if you count the WWE connection, Hogan was in Muppets from Space) which is in the same Universe as Star Wars... and E.T. as his race was in the Prequels... this just keeps getting deeper! We may be able to make a movie that's ALMOST as good as Laserblast

I always loved Itchy's line, "30 seconds, no more Dick! 30 seconds, no more Dick!"
It's one of those lines that's far more amusing to hear when you're not a kid anymore.
