So other than Ultimate Muscle and Mucha Lucha what are some wrestling cartoons? I remember Brendon Small had a show on Adult Swim but never caught it before it ended.
I also saw there is a new pro wrestling comic in circulation now.
What are aone other examples of non wwe related wrestling media? Excluding obvious stuff like fire pro etc.
Edit: also i love backyard dogz.

Tons.
Beyond the WWE-licensed comics for Austin, Chyna, UT and Foley, several others have had comics. Nash and Road Warriors have had comic series. There's M.U.S.C.L.E., which was a manga, anime and toy line. TV shows include Learning the Ropes. Movies...where to start. Ready to Rumble, The Wrestler (1970s Ed Asner version), The Wrestler (2000s Mickey Rourke version), Body Slam, Grunt! The Wrestling Movie, Mad Bull, The One and Only, I Like To Hurt People, Paradise Alley, Zombies Vs. Wrestlers, All The Marbles, Fist of Thunder, the Calamari Wrestler, etc. Woody Woodpecker and Bugs Bunny both had theatrical shorts devoted to them joining the business.

I had a few issues of The Undertaker's comic book and they were insane. They featured The Undertaker actually murdering a lot of people. I think Warrior's featured him raping Santa Claus? Or maybe I'm mixing up memories, but I'm pretty sure someone raped Santa somewhere. I only had Taker's, though. I doubt I still have them anywhere. I picked them up on Free Comic Book Day like five years ago. Since that's in a few weeks, maybe I'll get lucky and find some more this year.
Requiem For a Heavyweight is more of a boxing movie, but wrestling plays a pretty big role. Nacho Libre is a pretty popular film about wrestling, but I've never seen it cause I don't find Jack Black funny.

The Masked Saint is a movie that came out in January, based on the life of a wrestler who quits and becomes a minister. The church is going broke, so he gets back in the ring. (The last role in Roddy Piper's life, he plays a sleazy promoter. Was pretty good.)
Don't forget the Tiger Mask series of Anime. Saw the first episode of Tiger Mask W last night.

There is a current comic book from Image called Ringside.
I don't think it's very good though. I get the impression that the writer knows a little bit about the behind the scenes of wrestling, but not as much as say the members of this and other wrestling message boards.

Don't forget the Tiger Mask series of Anime. Saw the first episode of Tiger Mask W last night. King of the WILD What did you think of it? I was looking for an excuse to get into anime, so this was the window of opportunity. I liked it, reminds me a bit of one part WWE, one part Lucha Underground.

As a fan of the old Tiger Mask anime this is fun and nostalgic.

The Night and the City is a great forgotten movie co-starring Stanislaus Zbyszko as a character based on himself. It has one of the longest wrestling sequences I've ever seen in a movie.
There are also dozens of sitcom episodes about the regular characters becoming wrestlers. My favorite is Always Sunny's The Gang Wrestles For The Troops, because Da Maniac loves you. A lesser known example would be Nikki, a show where the main character's husband was an indy wrestler, and thus wrestling came up on the show a lot. Kevin Nash once guest starred as the secretly gay World Champion. It was far more tasteful than you'd think.

Marvel Comics has the Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation, which was featured prominently in series such as Captain America and Marvel Two-In-One back in the '80s. Songbird from the Thunderbolts used to compete in UCWF under the name Screaming Mimi, and will still drop the occasional wrestling reference, including at least one "Mimi 3:16" gag.

Kinnikuman, the predecessor of Ultimate Muscle, has already been mentioned in the form of M.U.S.C.L.E., but it's fun to see parts of it for stuff like Hulk Hogan as Neptuneman, who basically behaves like Brock if he cheated even while having the advantage just because he is a complete piece of shit, or Terryman, who is basically young Terry Funk and more professional and likable than the main character and his early rival due to the main character's envy of his acceptance but without wanting to learn the discipline Terryman has.
That, and just bonkers stuff like people dying in the ring, such as Ramenman killing a Nazi and turning him into noodles, devouring him. His son tries to get revenge, and later becomes a heroic character, but is still wearing a Nazi uniform.

Two fairly well-known instances:
Bone Saw figures in Spider-man's origin.
The Waterboy idolized Captain Insano.

Body Slam was my shit when I was a preschooler. I swear I remember reading once that Dirk Benedict didn't know wrestling was fake until he did this movie.

There's a Korean movie based on the life of Rikidozan which came out about 10 years ago. Pretty decent although focuses more on his personal life from memory. Some Japanese wrestlers appear in it.

As far as games go (as in game ABOUT wrestling instead of being a straight-up wrestling game) there's Slammed, an interactive novel. It isn't a visual novel, as it's all text based, but it is a neat little interpretation of the business.
