I watched some of First Take for the first time in a while and I think Screamin' A is even more unbearable than I remember. I can't even recall what his 'hot takes' were, he was just yelling over everyone.
I guess they told him to turn it up to 11. At least Skip says stupid things in a calm voice.

Never underestimate the power of the least common denominator. As much as we want rational thought, networks know that the demand for angry guys screaming nonsense will get more viewers; be it the clickbait mentality, the confrontational nature, or the train wreck aspect. Though, you can only go so far. FS1 is seeing returns by becoming the Firebrand Network for Hotheads, but will that yieldlyield longterm returns? ESPN works because of the machine. FS1 isn't THE MACHINE. FS1 is a start-up with a bunch of guys who weren't key cogs in the machine. Like, remember Sean Salisbury? Terrible QB, smug guy, always had something stupid to say. The football talent of Skip Bayless, but with the volume turned down just a little. Anyway, he left and nobody has heard a word from him since. SAS is the guy now. And there will be another disposable spineless jagoff after him, and another after that one. So for FS1 to think that any of these guys are key to success is....well, to sum it up they're getting exactly what they deserve. Exactly, ESPN has hired the top sports writers and analysts for years to build their brand as a trusted sports news source. Therefore, they can get away with having guys like Cowherd, Bayless and formerly Jim Rome to troll the shit out of everyone. But when you don't back their nonsense up with a reputation or a network with any sort of relevance it just becomes a giant joke catering to the absolute lowest denominator. Although Fox News has been a huge success in that area, sports fans looking for coverage at least want something of substance to back it up. Luckily for FS1 and unfortunate for us, they have major live sporting events on their network that will keep them alive, basically like a Panda Energy for TNA. Unfortunate, because in my opinion, NBC Sports does a much better job.

Sucks for Cari Champion, apparently she was miserable on First Take, got promoted and got her own show on ESPN. Now she's being bumped to ESPN2 by the very show she hated to be on. She hated being on First Take?

Stephen A is on a power trip. He basically says this is my show in his body language as molly only talks on "women topics" and I like Max as a boxing personality but he does not shine with the loud one which is Stephen A.

She hated being on First Take? Just reading articles, apparently her and Stephen A didn't get along very well. She publicly said she reached her ceiling. Think of First Take as a way of paying your dues, if you can get through that, you can get through anything. Just find it ironic after all of that, she gets bumped back to ESPN 2.

Okay yea I do remember her saying she used First Take as a way to pay her dues like Dana And Jay before her. It doesn't surprise me that she probably didn't get along with Stephen A because he's high maintenance. I hate the format they are using with the moderators and they don't say anything unless it involves domestic violence or something about women. They really need to go back to the old formula of a few years ago like when they had various people come in and debate Skip on different topics except now it be Stephen A.

Like Cari I'm sure she's doing this shit to get that anchor job which would be the real exposure but she has to play babysitter until then. I assume if NBC came calling she'd way her options but then you got to wonder if she would do better than Michelle Beadle when she left.
