 The main event has Fake son of JYD vs a bad Uncle Elmer ripoff. Then there is someone known as Black Ranger. I am hoping it is power rangers gimmick. Going to the show tomorrow. Needs more fake Doinks.... Or a fake Patriot. I was at a show last night that had one. The brainiacs behind me swore it was Del Wilkes, the original It clearly wasn't him or Tom Brandi. He was selling pics of the original WWE Patriot too. |

I was at an indy show a few years ago and a guy was billed as Kamala Jr. or son of Kamala. His gimmick table (where wrestlers sell autographs, merchandise) had photos of James Harris' Kamala which I guess he would be selling for signing I saw a Bobo Brazil Jr. brought in when Nikolai Volkoff no-showed an autograph session. As well as a fake Golga billed as the original (after John Tenta's death, mind you). And One Warrior Nation. |

The way the pic of Jyd's fake son is cropped, it looks like he's holding a sword. Had a lot of people mention that at the show tonight. Krimson is going to have a fit about yet another wrestler trying to rip him off. This Krimsynn has been using the name for at least a few years before the TNA one. And really it is rare that he is called that. Usually it is just Reggie Matthews. "Hey, they've got The son of the Junkyard Dog!" "What's his name?" "That is his name." I will give him this he cleaned up at the gimmick table. Carter and Joe Kane both left all their gimmicks at our table. Carter had "dog chain" necklaces,sold 3 of them for 10 each,shirts,sold both for 10 each,then piles of small pics that were a buck each,sold at least 30 of these. Wonder if he wrestles in them. He came out in them.Then wrestle barefoot. I ended up riding down to the show with the head of Bodyslam Media Productions. And both of us filmed each match. Bodyslam Media has such a huge backlog of footage it will be months before their copies are up on Dailymotion. But I should have the entire show up by Wednesday. If there is any interest in seeing any of them,and the mods don't have an issue with it,I will post them in this thread. The best I have seen for "fake" wrestlers was Ultimo/Ultimate Dragon. Seems to work AL/MS mostly. Claims to be the same Ultimo that was in WCW and WWF. And drives up to the shows in the mask. Never removes it,even in the locker room. And leaves wearing the mask. Last show he was at I attended,he had a replica WCW Us title belt that he would hold in pictures. And as why there was no Doinks on the show...at least as of a few years ago Dusty Wolfe is the only Doink working the deep south. He also sometimes works the same shows as Mr Wrestling. |
