I'm hoping for Wyatt or Cena.

I'd mark hard for a Rusev win. Even better if he didn't make the usual cash in but just goes in and annihilates the champ in a fair match.
Ah, it'll never happen. A guy can dream, right?

Ha, you optimistic dorks! You seriously think it's going to be Owens/Ambrose/New Day?
YOU'LL GET SHEAMUS OR ALBERTO AND YOU KNOW IT
Pardon me, I'm just crushing my soul prematurely in preparation for the disappointment.

Owens, Cesaro, Styles, or Rusev....either of those 4 I'll be happy with.

I don't think so since he would have had 2 main events with Reigns (Extreme rules will be hardcore rematches) already Probably Ambrose if they go with Shield 3 Way at WM 33

Owens, Zayn, or Balor.

They haven't done the "face wins and then turns soon after a dishonorable cash-in" in a while. So I'll say... eh, Crews or Cesaro.
I'm still stupidly hoping for New Day Kofi to win the Rumble. That makes so much sense for him.

Finn if he debuts at payback with the club
He fills the stereotype of coward heel that could use the briefcase as a step to the championship

Gut instinct is Cener. I see that storyline leading to Wrestlemania vs a still undefeated Roman, where Roman wins, leading to another year-long feud to the next Wrestlemania where Roman still wins and Cena bows out gracefully and becomes a Legend and shows up once in awhile (Like the next year to fight Undertaker) and does more stuff in Hollywood and Fox News and stuff.
Second thought is Sammy Zayn who will cash in in one of the MOTY contenders but come up short.

BBBBBRRRROOOCCCCKKKKKKK LESNAR! I don't actually think he would win since he pretty much is a walking championship match opportunity but I think it would be cool if he had it and just fd with whoever had the belt knowing at any point the beast could strike.

I think they should scrap MiTB. I can't think of anyone who absolutely needs the briefcase to get a title shot and MiTB should be for giving a title shot (not necessarily a win) to someone who wouldn't get one otherwise.

I'd be so irritated if they gave it to one of the New Day guys this year because KOFI SHOULD'VE WON LAST YEAR!!! Now that they're faces I don't know if them bouncing around the briefcase will work as well.

Brock Lesnar, because of 2 things:
1. A ladder match in which one person just kills all the others sounds awesome
2. Lesnar can cash it in on Reigns with announcing it a couple of weeks earlier like RVD did. Probably Summerslam

There are a lot of good options this year. Owens, Ambrose, Zayn, New Day... or maybe even a returning Seth Rollins? Too soon for Balor, imo.

Cody Rhodes. And then loses the cash in, because no one will take the belt off Roman in this century.

Kevin Owens seems like the obvious choice. Though AJ Styles winning and cashing in with advanced notice or a New Day member winning and trying to freebird it would be fun.

I think Owens is the obvious choice. For me, the whole MitB gimmick works best with a heel. It's supposed to be a backdoor to the WWE Title. You could have a babyface win and do the honourable thing like RVD did and set up a match, but I think you get the most out of the gimmick when a guy takes advantage of the weakened champion. Granted, by the same token that's been absolutely done to death at this point. That's been beaten so far into the ground by now it's ridiculous. Oh, I agree. But people love it and I don't think it's going away any time soon. The question is, are they capable of telling a new story with it?
