If I didn't say "other than Arn" this thread would probably be nothing but mentions of the perpetually 45-year old Mr Anderson, so... aside from Double A, who all else surprised you by how young they were when their looks said otherwise?
I'll say Earthquake; it's almost certainly the hair, but you definitely wouldn't have figured him to still be in his late 20s during his original WWF run.
Honestly, a lot of guys in the 80s into the early 90's looked much older than you would've thought, but I feel like a lot of it is due to two factors: A, mullets and similar hairstyles, and B, people being much more willing to shave their heads from the mid-90s on.
For a more recent obvious example, Luke Gallows went from looking 40 to looking his age when he stopped being Festus.

Anybody in the 1970s AWA not named Bobby Heenan or (maybe) Ray Stevens. (Because I'm guessing on a whim there's going to be nothing but mentions of Verne Gagne, Dick the Bruiser and the Crusher, so I went a different direction.)

I hate to be that guy but, at least for this generation, this conversation begins and ends with Luke Gallows.

Michael Hayes looked way older once he got the beard. He was barely in his mid 30s when he retired.

Poor Arn, it's just the recessive gene from his family, the andersonitis.
Andersonitis is a serious disease, partial or total baldness, then a pudgy physique.

On a related note, Terry Gordy was actually the youngest of the Freebirds, almost exactly two years younger than Hayes, but partly due to his size, often came across as the oldest of the trio (which actually would have been Buddy Roberts, who was *20* years older than the other two).

Regal, especially in his WCW days. I thought he was pushing forty when he was Lord Steven Regal, I couldn't believe it when I found out he was in his mid-twenties at the time.

I remember there was a lot of confusion about his age by internet fans during his WCW days because, for some reason, people thought he was the same guy as "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal who wrestled in the AWA in the 80's. Is this limited to guys? Because TNA's Jade/Mia Yim looks a good decade older facially then she actually is, at least to me.

Hogan was just 32 at Wrestlemania 1. He easily looks ten years older than that.

Then they talk and it turns out he was like 23 at the time. Yeah, Colt was trying to figure out where this guy had been wrestling. Figured he was this nobody vet that had been wrestling on micros for decades. Then lost it when he found out not only was Gallows less experienced than him, but younger than him too!

I'll throw another in Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. He looked like he was in his 40's since he started in the business.

The Warlord is always the first person I think of in this subject.
He was 24 in the Powers of Pain, and 27 when he started with the mask and the wand.
He's only 54 today.
