I can't believe believe that Lucifer got a second season. After watching some preview footage I thought for sure if there was a show that was gonna die a quick and forgotten death that was it. I'm wondering if I should check it out now.

It's not the greatest show in the world, but it's alright enough. The guy they got playing the title character is good.

Uh-oh, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend going to Friday Death Day? I wanted to catch up with this, but I fear there soon will be a limited number for me to do so with. /Can Rachel having them heavy boobs overcome it? The good news though is moving to Friday means the ratings threshold for CEGF will be lower. Tim Allens show got moved to Friday it's 2nd season and is still going strong . Also if Rachel Bloom nabs an Emmy nom in a few weeks no way CW will cancel the show after season 2.

Wait, PRISON BREAK is coming back?! With Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell?!
Well that's interesting. Since (a) neither of them are leaving the CW/DC world, and (b) it was my understanding things didn't end well for Miller's character in the original show.
..........oh wait, it's a limited series. Ok, makes more sense.

Kevin Can Wait was alright. Got a few laughs out of it.
Looking forward to This Is Us, the show that will give Mandy Moore an Emmy.

Of all the new shows that were starting this season, the one I was looking forward to the most was Bull. I liked Michael Weatherly on NCIS, and so if he was gonna move on, I wanted whatever he did to be... ya know, good.
Thus far? I might need to give it another week to be sure, but it's... good. Not great, but good. I think it would have been screwed if against This Is Us (which just... didn't catch my attention, but people on Twitter seemed to like it, so w/e).
Also, yay Lucifer's back.

Spent my morning watching the returns of New Gilr, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Scream Queens, as well as the premiere of The Good Place. All pretty fun.

I was pleasantly surprised by This Is Us. It was pretty much everything I was hoping Parenthood to be. Yes, it was a bit uneven, but it's a pilot. Those things can be worked out. I also loved THe Good Place, but then again, I totally expected myself to. (Total Michael Schur fangirl.)
And I already saw the pilot of Speechless. (It's on Hulu.) It's damn funny. The "PC" jokes that permeate the school scenes might annoy some of you, and I can see the sister could potentially get grating. That being said, it is, once again, the pilot.

I don't know what to make of Speechless yet...I guess decades of Corky becoming an internet meme make me wonder.
Why am I not excited for Modern Family's return? Eric Stonestreet blocking me on Twitter probably for lumping me in some political exile? Ariel Winter doing the Miley thing all summer? More hyped about The Middle? I don't know! And they've seemed quiet about it on last night's commercial breaks on ABC. Pushing the new shows and black-ish instead.
Once Upon A Time may have finally gone somewhere over the shark. I am not finding myself interested at all. I guess bringing back Meghan Ory only to try and make her an SJW device (they probably won't use her again because Chesapeake Shores) was the straw that broke the camel's back. Plus I can see her on the other show anyway. I'm not in a rush to see the eps. from last season that I missed.
When's Flash, Crazy Ex, and the Animation Domination shows restarting?

I really liked This Is Us. I really like the cast so far, and I have a softspot for Justin Hartly from his role as Adam on Young & The Restless. It had its funny and heartwrenching moments and I want to see where everything goes from there. I can definitely understand why this had so much critical buzz.

Tonight might be the first bombs of the season with Lethal Weapon and Speechless. Lethal Weapon has the Empire lead out which got Rosewood a second season. I think it'll do fine.

Designated Survivor intrigues me. If I can tear myself away from the Big Brother finale, I'll see some or all of it.
