Lethal Weapon has the Empire lead out which got Rosewood a second season. I think it'll do fine. True, but movie shows don't have the best record...look at Minority Report I'd say, well, there was this little show called M*A*S*H, but yeah, by the 80s, TV shows based on movies sucked pretty bad.

Designated Survivor intrigues me. If I can tear myself away from the Big Brother finale, I'll see some or all of it. Given the election year, this show seems incredibly well-timed.

Will watch Designated Survivor later. Also, I'm interested in the MacGyver remake.

Okay just saw the Lethal Weapon premeire, it's a thousand times better than the Rush Hour series was. Pretty decent adaptation to the movie's storyline as well and they managed to put in a few interesting character quirks.
Unfortunately the hot black Murtaugh daughter from the movie (who is all over Riggs) doesn't make an appearance in this universe

Lethal Weapon was much, much better than I expected. I have a soft spot for Damon Wayans (Major Payne lol) and even though a lot of his movies have been kinda wack, McG is a really good action director. I like the guy playing Riggs and Jordana Brewster gets better looking with age (even though she is only 36).

Wednesday is just a great night of network TV. Lethal Weapon was really good. I'm always rocking with SVU and Blackish. I stopped watching Empire but hey people still love it. Designated Survivor was great and I wish the premiere was 2 hours.

Considering that it's both a police procedural and a horrible adaptation of its source material, Lucifer continues to be a great show that is far better than it has any right to be.

Probably because the guy they got to play the titular character is just so damn charming that you can't help but be drawn to him whenever he's on screen.

I saw Son of Zorn's preview. I think it's a mess.
For starters, it's meant to be a He-Man parody mixed with a suburban family sitcom, yet it seems like the He-Man stuff is inconsequential. In the first episode, several of those characters were randomly killed off for quick jokes. Frankly, I would rather they soon abandon that aspect or just move some of the surviving characters to Orange County to serve as the contrast to the domestic stuff involving an estranged father trying to get back into his son's life.

I dunno why I find the This Is Us twist funny, but I couldn't stop laughing when they got to it.

I liked Pitch, but I forgot it was premiering last night till about 10 minutes before the premiere. I made sure to DVR it, so I could see it. It wasn't a smart decision by Fox to have it premiere opposite a game involving the New England Patriots.
