Ditto on everybody sans Affleck in Batman v Superman. The worst waste was on Henry Cavill. He looks the part, and the interviews he did, as well as The Man from UNCLE showed that he does have charisma. It's a shame they continued on making Superman bland and joyless.
Natalie Portman in the prequel trilogy... 'nuff said.
Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man. He was one of the better parts of those two movies. Garfield was able to show off the wit that Spider-Man has in the comics, and he did it fantastically. Too bad his Spider-Man wasn't in a great movie.

I watched Jupiter Ascending today and it was full of them:
Eddie Redmayne - Oscar winner doing a bad Lord Voldermort impression.
Sean Bean - Mumbled about bumble bees and didn't even get his customary death scene.
Mila Kunis - Usually at least likeable and/or sexy, was , dumb, passive and only had a thing for dogs.
Channing Tatum - Is he normally a good actor? I genuinely have no idea but I'm guessing he is.
Tuppence Middleton - At least they didn't waste her ass, didn't do much else though.
(The Mum from Orphan Black - Played the Mum from Orphan Black, but Russian)

Channing Tatum - Is he normally a good actor? I genuinely have no idea but I'm guessing he is. He is with the right director.

People defended The Phantom Menace on grounds that it featured 'good' actors like Natalie Portman and Sam Jackson. Okay, but did the script and their roles actually utilize their supposed talent? No, not at all!

Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns - We could have had a movie Luthor that was close to his comic counterpart. If Bryan Singer just had him play Lex similar to Frank Underwood then it would have been great. Instead, we got a retread of Gene Hackman's comedic approach.
Mark Strong in Green Lantern - the guy was Sinestro come to life. He totally nailed it in looks and mannerisms but alas, the film sucked and we'll see Sinestro get recast when GL gets rebooted.

This is where I would say Raul Julia in Street Fighter, but he did such a good job that I don't really consider it a waste.

Channing Tatum - Is he normally a good actor? I genuinely have no idea but I'm guessing he is. With the exception of one or two roles, he is basically male Jessica Alba or Meghan Fox. No one goes to his movies to watch him act.

After seeing X-Men: Apocalypse, I don't think we really needed Oscar Isaac wasting his time with it.
