As someone who doesn't watch New Japan all that closely, I have to ask: Is Kenny Omega always that silly, or is that a ROH-only thing? It's really not working for me. With that said, I did mark out a bit when Matt Taven said he was "going to put an end to those cartoon characters." It's exactly what I wanted to hear.

Please, in the name of JBL, keep Yoshi Tatsu out of ROH and Matt Taven away from commentary. So, so bad.

ROH's pacing on this Bullet Club takeover angle is pretty annoying. I can appreciate ROH using tour footage to sell storylines but when they have the Machine Guns engage the Addiction in a relatively harmless joke battle leading to a title feud, and then in the next segment talk about how a week ago Bullet Club were attempting to hang Chris Sabin with a noose it makes the Guns looks pretty foolish for not trying to get even with the Bullet Club instead of making bald jokes at the Addictions' expense. Just feels like for the amount of chaos that the BC are causing, it doesn't seem like ROH officials are very interested in curtailing it at all. Nigel is out doing commentary on the first show after the PPV and doesn't seem to concerned about the fact that BC are pretty much acting like criminals under his watch.

Would it be too much to ask for the Whitmer/Corino thing to die for good after BITW? There's no reason why it needed to drag on for this long.
I'm sure it's my apathy towards the Bullet Club and utter loathing of the Briscoes coloring my opinion, but save for the Lethal/Omega interactions, that main was boring. Seriously, can Briscoe be bounced from the PPV match in favor of Omega? That would be an incredibly fun match.
Can Will Ferrara please win a match? I feel bad for the guy, he deserves better.
Gedo/Castle was fun.

It was supposed to end at Final Battle, which would have been the perfectly timed two years, but Corino's surgery was legit imperative and wouldn't have fit as the blowoff on the Anniversary show.

Very cool.
Also, I'm late to the party, but I really, really liked Gedo-Castle from last week. Such a dastardly villain character played to Dalton's strengths perfectly. Hope on the inevitable Dalton Castle compilation, that match is on there.
ROH is coming up on the Sinclair show's 5th anniversary soon, right?

Hope on the inevitable Dalton Castle compilation, that match is on there. ROH is coming up on the Sinclair show's 5th anniversary soon, right? Yesterday was 5 years since the sale and tomorrow (the 26th) is the 5 years since Best In The World 2011, the first Sinclair show. Results for the curious: {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Dark 1: Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson Def. (DQ) Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reilly 2: Tommaso Ciampa Def. Colt Cabana 3 Jay Lethal Def. Mike Bennett 4 Homicide Def. Rhino (No Holds Barred Streetfight) 5 Michael Elgin Def. Steve Corino 6 El Generico Def. Christopher Daniels (C) to win the ROH World Television Title
7 Charlie Haas (C) & Shelton Benjamin (C) Def. Kenny King & Rhett Titus, Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe, Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli (Four-Way Elimination Tag) ROH World Tag Team Titles
8 Davey Richards Def. Eddie Edwards (C) to win the ROH World Title

So I finally discovered ROH is on NESN here, and thus, DVR'ing happened. But I have one question.
Seriously, when did Todd Sinclair get so fat?! And... how is that even possible?! I mean, Scott Steiner couldn't even find the words to describe him!
