No more Cabinet! Man I am so happy. I love Coleman and ANX as a trio, but that gimmick sucked so much.

They have potential but I wasn't a fan of how they did this with them being mad at roh for making them be goofs and doing the cabinet stuff.Loved Rhett Ritus bitching about roh doing this to him after he's been so loyal to roh but I seem to remember him trying to kill roh as a member of scum.

To be fair, he played the joining SCUM under the same reasoning, that he was loyal to the company and was essentially punished for someone else's mistakes and left for dead.

Rhett's a heel so I had no problem with his reasoning but I'm not a fan of them pushing that it's fake and they are forced to do a stupid gimmick but you played that gimmick as real so why should we care. Can't wait for them getting new members as Caprice said there are more of them.

Ahh, I get what you mean. Yeah, it's strange how it's now suddenly a shoot-within-a-shoot-within-a-shoot. I've been a big Coleman fan and dying for a push for him for 4 years, Kenny King has never been better as a total package, and when Rhett is calmer he's coming across as refreshingly more legit. I just wish this wasn't shoot-ception.

Lineup for Episode #270 (Airing 11/19 and later):
Silas Young vs. Kyle O'Reilly Colt Cabana and Dalton Castle (w/ two "replacement" boys) vs. Preston Quinn and Ken Dixon Team CMLL (Ultimo Guerrero, Okamura and Hechiero) vs. The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia)
I'll be honest: There's only one reason to watch this episode, and it isn't for The Kingdom. Those who have read the spoilers know what I'm talking about. For those who haven't, well... Prepared to be surprised.

So I am trying to catch up and went to watch the most recent show I had left on the DVR and it was the one from 3 weeks ago. Watched and loved the Yano/Elgin match, same for Fish/Lee (though Lee/Ospreay will be far more amazing and I cannot wait) and then I came to the Six Man TTMatch featuring the New Kingdom, which my DVR cut off. That seems strangely like a mercy killing on my DVR's part but I could be wrong.

Masterfully done. I will say, I really enjoyed Silas-Kyle though.

Plus there was the added enjoyment of watching the Bullet Club utterly fail.

Now THAT was a go-home show!
I might have to be in the house for Final Battle while I'm in NYC this weekend. Really a strong card, all well set-up.
I really dug Alex Shelley on commentary tonight. It caught me off guard at first that he was doing more play-by-play than color, but once I realized that's what he was doing, he really wowed me. Such a refreshing take on that style. If Kevin Kelly continues to transitions into the great job he's been doing as producer of the television show and director of the segments, I wouldn't mind hearing Shelley leading the broadcasts.

Lineup for Episode #271 (Airing 12/3 and later):
It's Joey Daddiego week for some reason!
Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara (w/ Joey Daddiego) vs. The Tempura Boyz (Sho and Yohei) Donovan Dijak vs. Joey Daddiego

...And you'll never guess who's doing his best Tazz impression on commentary this week. Hint: It's not Matt Taven for once...

Lineup for Episode #273 (Airing 12/17 and later):
Decade of Excellence, Round One: Mark Briscoe vs. Christopher Daniels (w/ Frankie Kazarian) Lio Rush vs. Caprice Coleman (with Kenny King and Rhett Titus) Redragon (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish) and Dalton Castle (w/ The Boys) vs. The Bullet Club (Adam Cole and the Young Bucks - Nick and Matt Jackson)
After a few weeks with Joey Daddiego and the Women of Honor, respectively, ROH is back with a fresh batch of episodes. These tapings have it all - fallout from a very well-received Final Battle, a number one contender tournament featuring several ROH all-stars and the final appearances of both Steve Corino and Nigel McGuinness.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't find the Young Bucks annoying, what I find annoying is Corino's SUPERKIIIIIIICK! screams 14 times every match. Especially at Final Battle when he felt the need to do it for every single kick of that ending.

Alright, hands up, which of you had out the monkey paw when I complained about the Cabinet? I thought I'd be happy that they'd shed that inane crap, but it has somehow gotten worse!

Honestly, I think it's time to separate King and Titus. I like both guys, but it seems Titus just keeps being swaggering "Addicted to Love"-mannerisms Titus in different attire while King channels new elements with whatever new lane he's exploring. I like Coleman's promo, I have no idea what they're doing with such a quick loss, but overall if you watch their entrance, it's Titus that's making it look goofy. The visual of the upside-down logo is something new, and King and Coleman's presentation is moreso something serious. King's promo about how "We're fans just like you who want to restore this company" is pretty refreshingly subtle compared to the overt faction-hostile-takeover routine we've gotten quite a bit over the past five years. It's just Titus' mannerisms are making it come off goofy. It's keeping The Rebellion from a refreshing reboot and just making it the same three-guys playing dress-up this week. Maybe Titus' strengths are in goofy fun (admittedly, I liked Romantic Touch more than most) and the way he became the Stevie Richards-figure in SCUM was a worthwhile evolution of that, but I think he's the piece of the Rebellion puzzle that's not quite fitting now.

Two issues in doing that, though. One, with ROH establishing that trios title, they'll be needing every trio they can get their hands on for a while. Even with awful gimmicks, ANX and Coleman are a top trio. Two, the gimmick has racist undertones as it is, so the black guys kicking the white guy out wouldn't look good at all.

First one is a good point. Second one I don't care. Let them bring in a different guy then. Dijak or Jason Kincade or, if Daniels is getting the solo push now, Kazarian.
