A lot of MSG shows would have opening matches involving almost total jobbers like Jim Powers and Mike Sharpe going well over 10 minutes.

CM Punk v Elijah Burke at Judgment Day 2007 lasted 16:50 and felt like it lasted double that. Judgment Day '07 has some of the weird match lengths of any PPV ever. Burke/Punk, Flair/Carlito, and Cade & Murdoch vs The Hardys all went over 15 minutes on the undercard. The two world title matches combined lasted 18 minutes (Khali/Cena, and Batista/Edge).

First one I thought of was Nasty Boys vs. Hawk/Sting at Starrcade '93- it went nearly 30 minutes (29:11) and ended in a DQ.

Judgment Day 2008 opened with a John Cena/JBL match that went just over 15 minutes but felt like twice that.

Speaking of WM27, that damn Kid Rock concert leading into that complete waste of a Divas Battle Royal. Two different shows hombre. The Kid Rock concert and Battle Royal was at WrestleMania 25. At 27 the women were represented in the classic match pitting Laycool and Ziggler against Morrison, Stratus, and Snooki. But that concert was so stupid. They couldn't even include it on the blu Ray/DVD, so everyone just appears in the ring and Santina dances to some generic track. Although it's definitely better than Kid Rock. Wow, that was a massive brainfart on my part. To be fair though, both shows were so awful (outside of HBK/Taker at 25) that I think they just melded together into one giant, colossal clusterf*** in my mind.

Kidman vs Mikey Whipwreck went 15:01 at Uncensored 1999, longer than the main event
Godwinns and new age outlaws vs Headbangers and new black jacks went 15:25 at survivor series 1997, longer than the main event
Both were openers

The Rock vs. the Sultan from Mania 13 went like 9 minutes, but watching it feels like hours had passed. I remember finding out the actual match time and being shocked it was so brief compared to what it felt like to watch.

The night after Punk left on Raw they had that Kofi/Del Rio match that felt like it took the whole show and still going on now.

Ambrose vs Luke Harper, which officially lasted about 50 minutes because they got in a car and left

I know it's the main event but I seem to remember HHH vs HBK in hell in a cell lasting about 6 years.
Lower card I remember a Matt Hardy vs Booker T match randomly going around 15 mins opening a show once (or maybe second on?).

Rick Rude v Jake Roberts at Wrestlemania IV & Lex Luger v Tatanka at King Of The Ring 93 both went to time limit draws and were both utter borefests

At SummerSlam 1998 I think the D-Lo/Val Venis opener was the second longest match of the night at almost 20 minutes.

At SummerSlam 1998 I think the D-Lo/Val Venis opener was the second longest match of the night at almost 20 minutes. It was the third longest, with the second longest being Austin/Taker and the first longest being Rock/Triple H.

Michael Cole/Jerry Lawler at WM 27 that was awful, same for the post raw feuds/matches whatever went on afterwards, what a waste of time and feud.

Michael Cole/Jerry Lawler at WM 27 that was awful, same for the post raw fueds/matches whatever went on afterwards, what a waste of time and fued. I will say this until the day I die. No match in WrestleMania history has ever or will ever be worse than Cole/Lawler. Not Goldberg/Lesnar, not Taker/Gonzales, not Hart/McMahon, nothing.
