Hmmmm, well I don't know. Is there any distinguishing marks or size differences I should look for to tell? kinda like violin and fiddle:same INSTRUMENT,but very different SONGS/parts of songs for them. So it's more of a style thing then a matter of physical structure.....then I'd have to say 1st. I prefer setting my melodies for my scores (no matter how amateurish they may be)on it. Though I seem to in the minority as the piano is considered the go to instrument for that...but I like the clean emotional sounds from a violin, piano to me is too heavy.

I have a degree in percussion but my heart will always be with the guitar.
I've taken a 10 week on most instruments for my teaching credential, which means I can play Mary had a little lamb on just about any melodic instrument. Yeah for me.

Saxophone (mainly tenor and baritone), bassoon, and ocarina.
I plan on picking up a set of bagpipes in the very near future.

at one time I played the bagpipes, but I sucked at it I played electric bass for awhile, but sucked more at that tried acoustic guitar, wasn't any good at that either, though not as bad as the electric bass I mainly just do vocals, if you consider the voice an intrument, I think I suck, but everyone tells me I'm good and it did get me offered a scholarship, but I dropped out so that doesn't matter now I'm learning how to play flute and drums, the first might work but the second won't, I have no rythm at all

I sing, play drums, and play a bit of piano. I can read the music and everything, it's just a matter of actually PLAYING it. I'd like to learn guitar, both acoustic and electric.

Oh, yeah, the voice is the most powerful instrument. Count me in on that one, too.

I gave a recital on the skin flute this morning. Did you get a standing ovation or was the audience half asleep?

Guitar (electric and acoustic, mostly acoustic now since i don't have an amp)
Bass (first time i ever played was at this party that had an Open Instrument Bar, no one believed it was my first time playing)
Drums (barely. I can keep a beat, play basic stuff)
Keyboards (synth stuff mostly)
Harmonica (won one at the Jersey Shore)
I think I can sing but I've never really done it in front of anyone to know if i'm actually good.
Plus I produce but I haven't done anything in months.

Bass geetar. Six years and I'm still abysmal, although, lately I've been able to throw down some Cannibal Corpse without a pick. That made me SO very happy. My friends always put me over as being "amazing," but I just don't see it. Though, in a way, I kind of just put myself over.
I am a bass guitar God.
