Yea, I understand being salty about having your show nixed and them changing you guys as far as how the show went but Jemele stepped over the line a few times and basically put a target on you guys. Should they have kept the SC6 format with Hill and rotating guest, sure because he complained about how they didn’t have him and Jemele talk enough to each other but that wouldn’t have been a problem. She probably did leave because they changed y’all show so much but some of this was self brought on. I understand being mad because you’re back to square one essentially with your identity being taken away but show them your worth instead of complaining about it. Yeah, Hill just kept crossing the bosses to the point where they would look bad if they didn't come down on her. If he should be mad at anyone, it's her. Like you guys have pretty much tied your careers together for a while now and she's committing career suicide and you're still tethered to her. But you're not getting whatever you had back, that was probably never an option (backing down) to Hill and ESPN just looks powerless if they tell her to stop and she doesn't and they just let it go. Smith got checkmated, nothing he could do. But move on, don't make it worse just because you have a sour taste in your mouth. Right. Throwing behind the scenes stuff out there now after they pulled the plug on your show is not going to do you any favors. I'm pretty sure he's still getting paid well and at worst he's a regular ESPN anchor which he wasn't at any point before this. SVP was someone who did a lot for the company before they gave him his own platform so sometimes you just got to stick with it. As much as they give people like Mike Greenberg opportunity after opportunity, you will get your chance again to shine but you can't burn a bridge while you're still on it

There isn't a clear cut career path that is comparable. You can go back to being a local sports writer in big markets. But even guys like Skip and Cowherd and Simmons who leave for good money and opportunities lose a lot of their platform. And to do your most damage, you gotta have that platform. You have to work it within the system. Like a lot of WWE guys in the 2000s, you can leave, but it's gonna be for a worse everything.

I'm sorry but Will Cain has to be the most condescending and irritating host I've heard in a long time.

Then you get takes on takes on takes. ESPN is the human centipede of news coverage.

Him sparring back and forth with Teddy Atlas is what annoys me because while Stephen A is a fan he’s no boxing analyst. Work something out with HBO so Max can do that instead

But more of covering Stephen A like he's a sports star, which I really can't stand. I don't wanna hear about Mike Golic's opinion of Trey Wingo's opinion of Stephen A Smith's opinion on Rajon Rondo's opinion of Isaiah Thomas. Ya know?

Yea there's no reason they can't work out a deal with HBO in regards to Max Kellerman being able to work both their networks for boxing because that dude knows and gets it. Yes. Stephen A is a fan but that's it, Max has called 100s of fights and as well as 100s of interviews with fighters You can tell who's the guys they care about on their network and who they don't. You got Golic having to react to a reaction of someone else's opinion. I liked Stephen A when he isn't in full cartoon mode but he's that way all the time because he has to be that force to get people talking despite no one caring about First Take for a good long while even before Skip left Greeny morning show whenever that starts is going to be the height of ESPN bullshit with a combination of him, Jalen Rose, and Michelle Beadle

I love Keith's shows, but he has this bad habit of letting his ego get in his own way and it always bites him in the ass wherever he goes. I'm kinda surprised he's back at ESPN considering their cost-cutting measures and it's gotta be at least his 3rd (4th?) stint at the network.
