Raptors made some good defensive moves over the last 10 days with Ibaka and Tucker

Also Minnesota balked at trading Rubio for D Rose straight up. Guess that is not a ringing endorsement when your old coach does not want you

The Thunder would be did well here. Gibson and Dougie won't get them over the hump but it could be enough to move them past Memphis or Utah. That could help them avoid San Antonio in the first round and possibly get the Clippers. I mean, if OKC could somehow move to the 5th seed and win that series, a second round match with the Warriors would be insanely fun, even if they get swept.

I think the New York Knicks are worse than hell right now. As a New Yorker I can only say the Knicks are the pits of hell sometimes. Like this season Knicks are purgatory. The true basketball hell is across the East River in Brooklyn.

Yes, that is indeed hell. Cool arena been there a few times for games and WWE but that team sucks. Crazy to think how much hype they had with Jay Z being the face of the franchse

I am quite happy with the Thunder's trade. Turned three bench players, two of which barely get playing time outside of blowout games, for a starting veteran power forward(allowing Sabonis to help bolster the bench and give him a good mentor for the position) and a solid bench scorer, plus a second round draft pick that can be most likely used in trade packages.

Thunder stole from the Bulls. That was a damn good move for them

The Thunder trade was good, but the Mavs trade was amazing. Noel is a guy who they can build around if they can extend him. But the price was ridiculously good. I'd be mad if I was a Celtics fan, because he was could have been the missing piece and to see him go somewhere else for pennies ln the dollar has to be frustrating. Now, if I'm a Philly fan, par for the course I guess.

I didn't expect any sort of fireworks for the Celtics today, but I did anticipate a minor move to address their lack of a rim protecting post presence and I figured either Nerlens Noel or Andrew Bogut would be in green by the end of the trade deadline. Obviously if it meant parting with the Brooklyn picks or some of the elite young talent, there would be no deal, but looking at what Dallas gave up to land Noel, it feels like Boston could have traded away a protected first-round pick, Amir Johnson, and someone like James Young or Jordan Mickey to facilitate a deal with the Sixers. I guess there is still the possibility that Bogut could be bought out by the Sixers and could still land in Boston, but considering how reasonable the asking price was for Noel and, again, for DeMarcus Cousins, I can't help but feel like the Celtics stood idly by while they let potential centers pass.

Biggest issue I have with the Celtics is who's gonna keep Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love off the glass if they meet the Cavs because we know it won't be Al Horford.

Boston is being frugal with their selections. The questions on Demarcus Cousins are fair but there is no doubt he is a great player. They are not willing to take a risk as I assume they could of dangled next year Nets pick and packaged a few players to get someone substantial. A lot of these deals did not involve a lot to be given up so people like Boston with a lot of assets you have to wonder why they did not get someone

Well I am pretty sure they are going try put a big on Bogut when he gets bought out and anybody else who gets bought out. Other then that you got Amir Johnson as the one "true" rebounder on that team

Boogie's first half as a Pelican
12 pts 4 rebs 4 assists 4 steals 3 blocks
Unfortunately the Rockets are doing their thing and blowing them out. Dumbass Kings. I'm just going to follow Boogie right out the door and to NOLA.

Once Andrew Bogut becomes a free agent, the Warriors are eligible to sign him.

They'd get a rim protector (and I think a slightly underrated rebounder when he starts), they'd keep their Brooklyn pick, and he doesn't have attitude questions surrounding him.

Neither team needs 1st picks so this would of been more of a player for player swap
