Westbrook signing that extension on KD's birthday is either a massive coincidence or the most amazingly, brilliantly petty thing ever.
Also, it's probably going to be stupidly easy to get around that "no resting healthy players" thing by saying a healthy player is dealing with some vague ailment like "tightness" or "cramps." If anything, I think this will only be enforced if teams pull a Pop and sit the entire starting roster for a national TV game.

It is def petty but i'm glad Westbrook wasn't one of those players who talked about staying and then backed away from his word. OKC keeps a star on their squad for years to come Also yea, neither the resting rule or the tanking rule did much to stop either from happening but it's just a fair warning. Pop still probably won't care and will still sit his whole team

Somewhere, Durant is crying because that's what he does.

The Brodie deserves the biggest contract ever.

In cute news, some fan sent Dirk 20 bucks to show appreciation for all the pay cuts he's taken over the years.

Does anyone even care about Durant?

I saw some improvement from my Lakers.
We are good enough to be the ninth seed...ugh this year won't suck as bad as the last five years so I guess that's something.
I hope Lonzo is not the new Ricky Rubio.
All those comparisons about Ingram and Durant, yeah I don't see them. Durant is actually great, Brandon not so much.

For a guy who everyone says has high offensive upside, his %s last year were atrocious.

There was a report last year that the Lakers could get Boogie Cousins if they traded a package that included Ingram, but Magic Johnson refused to trade him... Magic Johnson passed on the best center in basketball for a kid that averaged less than ten points and only completed 62% of his freethrows. I think there was even a stretch of games in which he didn't even score.

Magic probably knows more about basketball than I do, but I just don't see it in Ingram.

Well not all basketball legends are genius general managers, except picking Kemba Walker, Michael Jordan pretty much has been the shits as an executive.
