I feel like that'd make a lot of sense, especially if they tackled some quality of life stuff, like the Wii U port of Wind Waker with the Triforce shards.

And the Twilight Princess port having easier human to wolf transformations and less spirits to hunt down. Though being that Skyward Sword had a bunch of motion controls, unless there's another control option, this game you'd only be able to play docked or having it standing with the kickstand.

Somewhere Arin Hanson is raging at the possibility of a Skyward Sword port.

I'm down with it.
I really liked Skyward sword... and never had a problem with the motion controls, granted I only ever played with the internal Wii motion +

I think they'd have to change it regardless since the Wii Remote and the Joycon are different beasts... and they'd have to try and map it to make it fit. I mean Button wise it's probably the same but they aren't in the same configuration.

Honestly the sword play in Skyward Sword never quite felt like it got there, at least for me.
I was more engrossed and into the stick fighting in Wii Sports Resort than about 90% of the fencing in SS.

Freakin' finally! Still cautious about YT's algorithm dinging people based on music, but at least they've come to their senses. This will make reviewing their stuff way easier.

Curious what Jim Sterling will say about it. Also, guess this will make the copyright deadlock slightly more difficult to pull off.

To be honest I really pay absolutely zero mind to video game stuff on Youtube and have forgotten what the program's rules were exactly, but good I guess?

It's been nearly six months since Fire Emblem: Three Houses was announced and not a peep about it since. What the f***, Nintendo?

Also, it wasn't slated to come out this year and until Smash is out, you damn sure don't hype another game if you're smart.

To be fair I think the reveal at the 2017 E3 was a preemptive gesture to satisfy Metroid fans who had waited 7 years for a good mainline game (and 10 years for good one), not unlike how the reveal of Pokemon Let's Go included a statement that a core Gen 8 game was being worked on to quell any outright backlash from the hardcores. I suspect Nintendo probably would have preferred to reveal it when it was further developed, but better to have an announcement and logo then 18+ months of fan grumbling about no new 3D Metroid.

OK, R-Type is out now, now we just need the Darius collection to get an NA release.

Yeah, Nintendo really didn't want to reveal Prime 4 that early, but with all the rumours going into E3 about a new Metroid they realized that there was too much hype to just reveal Samus Returns so they dropped the teaser

For those who like tabletop games, Carcassonne is releasing on the Switch on the 6th. Much like the real game, it comes with the River and Abbot expansions. And if you pre-purchase, you get the Inns & Cathedrals expansion free.
