I sometimes (actually, now was the first time) wonder if he just cruises the internet to see the battles between his fans and non-fans, and then just starts laughing while telling AJ and Colt how stupid all of us are.

He has the Bret Hart syndrome. He can't let go of what WWE did to him, even after many years past. Unlike Hart, Punk could have easily died because of WWE's negligence and deliberate refusal to properly diagnose his infection.

I sometimes (actually, now was the first time) wonder if he just cruises the internet to see the battles between his fans and non-fans, and then just starts laughing while telling AJ and Colt how stupid all of us are. Punk wakes up laughing at how everyone is so stupid compared to him. That's kind of how he's always been.

Bruce Lee was the same kind of person like Punk and made a lot of enemies , Lee did treat his fans nice though.

Ok, what's the point of this thread? Corndog, you literally liked a post that simply said "He is a horrible person." So what's the agenda, here? Do you know the guy and feel comfortable making a judgment like that? Seriously, this is the type of stuff we try not to encourage, it's not healthy for discussion. Beyond that, I'll be thrilled if I never read the word "bitter" used in association with a former wrestler again. Why was Bret Hart "bitter"? Because he was lied to by a man he viewed as a father figure who was also in charge when his little brother died on the job, and then to cap it off he had his career ended in a freak accident while working in a company that killed off a lot of his drawing power. Why is CM Punk "bitter"? Go listen to the Cabana podcast again. But all along, all these years, people keep yelling "bitter, he's bitter!", all the while spending a bunch of time online shit-talking the WWE without ever having worked there, and constantly citing as evidence of this "bitterness" interviews where people like Bret or Punk get asked direct questions about things that happened in their time in WWE...and they answer them. At this stage, is it not a higher sign of "bitterness" to constantly follow these guys around and find ammunition to be angry at them for not being in a certain company, or in the wrestling industry at all? By most accounts, Punk doesn't seem particularly bitter in his normal life: he's happily married, goes to as many baseball and hockey games as he wants, has plenty of money saved up, gets to appear on shows and podcasts about things he likes (Walking Dead, etc.) and he's even gotten to write stories for Marvel comics, a pretty big deal for a guy who used "It's Clobberin' Time" as a rallying cry before matches. But if you ask him about his time in WWE, he'll tell you a lot of it sucked. So? It's his experiences, his feelings, and his life, who cares? Finally sense has prevailed! I don't need to say anything here Mon ami

It would be one think if it was the doc suing him for what Punk said and it being between them two but for WWE to put together a video of nothing but pics and videos of CM Punk's ass over the last few weeks he was in WWE and put it on their YouTube channel for millions to see changes the game, IMO. It no longer seems to be the doctor defending himself but WWE using him as a proxy to attack Punk since they couldn't do anything based on his contract. And weren't they kinda blurry anyways, so we really couldn't see anything? And if we were able to see it, couldn't we see that there was something there? Even better: there's a video online of a radio show he went on where he showed the hosts his dent on request, and it's about dead centre on his left ass cheek. Look for the WWE ass zoom video between the first 2 stars on his tights, and I swear I actually see a raised lump a few times in the same spot. Either Amann knew about it and he's full of shit, or Punk didn't tell his doctor about a huge infected looking lump on his ass when he's been on Z-Paks for months for a mystery infection and is constantly ill to the point of shitting his pants mid match.

It almost couldn't be easier to ignore CM Punk than it is right now, in fact the only time I get updates on what CM Punk happens to be up to in his life is when I browse this board and see the latest "haha CM Punk is trying to do a thing, can't wait for him to fail" thread. So I dunno if it's Punk who is the bitter one really.

I've always heard wrestling fans are loyal. One only needs to look at the story of CM Punk and see that it's not always true. As soon as someone gets booked as a lame duck who's peaked, a lot of fans turn on them. And they can't handle the cognitive dissonance that comes with it, because surely the WWE machine can't manipulate them to feel that way. So they make it about the wrestler, about how they're a douche or they're actually not that talented or pointing out misleading stats to say they got their fair shake and didn't get over or get the job done. It's such a racket. Oh there's always been a 'What have you done for me lately?' attitude in the fanbase, look at how people turned on Warrior, then Bret, then Austin, Rock, Lesnar, Punk and others once they left wrestling. Sometimes it feels like people in the fanbase believe wrestlers somehow owe it to Vince to let themselves be worked like greyhounds, kept out there until they're too injured to keep going then tossed into a dumpster, where they should stay without complaint no matter how many legitimate reasons they have to do so. Two excellent posts right here. It's always weird to see people on here who are usually very critical of what WWE does turn into Gerald Brisco-tier sycophants when the suggestion comes up that WWE doesn't treat its employees all that well. See also, any thread on a concussion lawsuit.
